i just installed a new slave and i went to press down on the clutch and it was very hard to press down wats this mean :help:

Air in the line would make it spongy, not stiff.

 

I would definitly check the line for kinks, otherwise think over if you cut the strap on the slave like Red 1989 MJ mentioned.

 

Does the clutch still function? Or does it not disengage at all?

Air in the line / master would not do that.

 

More like a faulty slave from the get-go :(

 

You can compress air, but hydraulics apply high "pressure"

You blew up the slave?

 

I would NOT spend money on another internal slave. For about the same price, you should be able to get everything you need for an external conversion.

You can use any AX-5 external kit. 98's just the year he had. I have an 86 kit in my 91.

 

Internals were only used 87-mid 93.
