So heard someone got murdered from involving an ad on CL.:(

 

Heard of people being robbed and all that, now someone got killed from it, but was this really a surprise?

According to the date on the article, that's from 2007. I don't know if you were referring to the latest case. A college student in Boston is accused of killing a "massage therapist" in a hotel after answering her CL ad. It's an effin crazy world out there for sure. I don't see how any focus could be put on craigslist though, and I'm not sure there is because I haven't really followed it that close, but the same people could have run or answered an ad in any newspaper much less craigslist.
