I like it Pat. I've always been a fan of that color.

I'm surprised this thread got drug up a few weeks later.

I'll be starting on paint when I get back from PA in a couple weeks. bed is coming off and not going back on...stepside. stepside box will be the same green, flat fenders will be black. going to do tube front fenders too I think.

I got to looking and 2 tones just don't look right on a shortty. If it was a long box then I would be doing a 2 tone. After I sale this one I will be building another one, but it will be a long box.

I would agree with that. It's just like clothes on short fat people (me), don't wear horizontal stripes! :clapping:

Wait, you're fat? I thought that was the blowfishes fault.

I like the green.

Looks OK Pat.

My only concern is if you have problems with the truck running hot or not - This I don't know -

A darker color paint won't help you keep the engine running cool... Especially if you wheel it and its not going to see much in the line of highway use :dunno:

Also, in the end, its what you want - not us

lol.

it stays right at 210 so far with a factory thermostat.

I'm gonna be putting a lower t-stat in it because it warms up extremely quick even in the winter...and with the block heater I can keep it warm and ready (just the way I like it  )

it'll be getting a cowl hood tho soon as I get time to build one.
