512tr
Did a marathon run with my 'new' MJ last week-end. Was driving from the southern part of Norway to the northern part, where my home place is, I'm working in the south, the distance is 1900 km ( 1200 miles) The Comanche preformed very well during the trip, an average 22 MPG, with GEM top on and loaded with 800lbs. 1.5 hour from home I blew a brake tube in the rear, no big deal, I was able to drive the few miles home, with only one brake circuit. Here’s a picture taken when passing on of the mountains up north, this is exactly on the Artic Circle.

pingpong
Back before I went and bought a trailer and tow rig.. I would drive my rig to and from the trail. That changed after we did Tellico this past spring, and I bent both front and rear axle tubes, destroyed my front locker, power steering pump, and Alternator. The road miles were 1137 for the trip, I don't know how to figure the trail miles.. But I used a tank of gas in 2 days. Patrick
Pete M
The Caribou are AWESOME! :D I did over 3000 miles to Moab and back this summer. Long trips in the MJ are infinitely better than long trips in the minivan. Jeep on! --Pete
