papastork Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 ok boys and girls, i need some help here... will the bell housing on a 4 cyl 5spd mj fit a 6 cyl 4.0 engine?
mfpdm Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Nope. The 5spd behind a 4 banger wouldn't last anyhow behind the 4.0 Not unless it has been swapped with an AX-15. Even then the bellhousing would still need to be changed for one from behind a 4.0 :cheers:

papastork Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 thanks. i was afraid that the swap would be a little bit tough. although i do have a 5 spd that came out of a two wheel drive mj. although it's missing second gear....
