garmj
Will 2" lift shackels from a XJ fit on a MJ and will it lift a MJ and how much? Looking to go up a couple of inches in the rear to level out the truck.
Motion Offroad
They will fit, however you will only see 1.25-1.5" of lift out of them on a MJ.
Darren
Instead of a lift shackle, you should get the 7.5" TnT y-link lift kit, but I wouldnt run stock axles with it, so you'll have to give SOLID a call and order a set of 44's, and with your new axles you will definitly need a nice new set of 35's, and get beadlocks for them, oh yeah you still need shocks and some other little things, but that will level out your truck real nice. garmj
BTW my truck is a 2.5 2wd, I am looking for a little more clearance between the 235/75/15 tires and the factory fender flares. I have installed spring spacers in front just wana bring the rear up level,2" should do it. This truck won't see any offroad duty except to the brush dump. Thanks Guys
dancome433
what about an add-a-leaf
dakineJ
To do a full 2" Budget Boost I think you want to do a combination of a full length AAL and a lift shackle like the Warrior Products one if you don't want to go w/lift packs.
Pete M
Find some decent condition 4wd MJ leaf packs. They should be good for an inch or so over 2wd leaf packs. If you need a bit more, take the main leaf from your old packs, cut the eyes off, and add it in as an add-a-leaf below your new main.
Concept2w
what about an add-a-leaf That's what I did on my Cherokee and planning to do the same with the Comanche. Added custom thick leaves and used cargo coils up front. I got 2 inches off it for a fair price without loosing any driveability. It's a perfect solution I think without raising it too much.
