I got a truss on mine (lower), but it seems like it's just something else to get hung-up on. Don't really know how much it helps, until i see a photo like the one above.

Don't really know how much it helps, until i see a photo like the one above. I went with an upper truss myself, but did keep the height fairly low for oil pan clearance. For as bad as that photo is, I don't think one truss would have totally prevented the damage.
