feerocknok
find yourself a big ditch and drive across it, putting a front wheel on one side and a rear wheel on the other. Will do!
Pete M
Like this: Or this: Whatever gets one tire either off the ground or really close to it.
feerocknok
Those boggers looks sweet. I'll probably go out Thursday.
Pete M
And they perform as good as they look. :D Only problem is that they stick out so far they tend to catch on trees.
JOMJ87
I had boggers and drove on the MJ to work one day and turned around and come home because it was such a rough ride i thought something was wrong. Have you had any road troubles with yours or do you even drive on the road. Cole
Pete M
Those tire don't touch the road. I tried driving around the block once and there were horrendous vibrations at ony 20 mph. But then I bought the 2 used boggers for trail tires anyway so it's not a problem.
JOMJ87
Thats what i thought you would say. I have seen people riding the roads with them at 55 mph and i don't see how they can do it. I only got to 30 and thought my truck was going to blow up. Cole

Everything sounds like it's being bombarded with axes, mases, and battering rams, and everyone stares! Good back massage though.
JOMJ87
My problem was i could barely see the road it was so bad and it would go straght if you put it on train tracks. It was probally one of the roughest ride ive ever had in or on anything. Cole
feerocknok
I was talking to a guy today who has 37" boggers on his Wrangler, with something like 12" of lift. He's done 100 n em  . And he says I'm the reason people want to make lifts illegal...
87manche
that's just stupid. Not only is the handling comprimised with that lift and tire combo, but the tires are probably only rated to 80. If it is indeed true, and I doubt it, then the tires would have leikely tread seperated, and he would have died.
feerocknok
I talk to the guy quite often, but I dislike him. The guy bought some 35" Open Country M/Ts and loved them, and now hates them cause they didn't get good road mileage.
DirtyComanche
I know guys who street drive their boggers... I'm not talking a 32 or 33 booger either. But, they balance them with about 10Lbs of BBs or sand. Each tire.
feerocknok
But, they balance them with about 10Lbs of BBs or sand. Each tire. Does that actually work? Is it a bias-ply thing?
DirtyComanche
Works for any tire. Just, boogers aren't very round, so you have to use a lot of weight. My 35 BFGs had about 1LB of BBs in each of them, smooth as a dream all the way up until I ran out of balls... No other weights or anything. And they were horribly unbalanced tires before then. pingpong
Dynamic balancing works great.. if the tires are what is causing the vibes :brows:
