You adjust the caster by adjusting the length of the upper/lower control arms right?

Depending on the amount of your lift. You can likely do just the lower or upper... Again, depending on how much you need.

Also on the amount of caster. I have found up to 10* OK on a lifted jeep. But your DS angle will not like that much. Generally jeeps like it closer to 10* the taller they get. 7*-8* is good for stock to couple inches of lift.

Toe-in is easily done with a couple pieces of known straight stock. I like 48" alum angle iron. I keep two pieces for just this propose. I use little bungie cords to attach them to the rims. set them so that they are parallel to the ground and in the center of the wheel. measure the back and front then adjust to as much as 1/4" closer in the front as pong suggested. Works GREAT and is WAY EASY!!!

Bringing back an old thread. I have approx 2" of lift I found out. So SOA for the original shock setup, I will need a 19" extended length shock. I found out that a Pontiac firebird has a 19" extended/11.75" compressed shock, But it has a stud upper mount like the MJ front shocks have. Does anyone on here know where to get a shock that is 19" extended that has the hoop mounts on both sides?

Holy necromancy, Batman! Talk about raising the dead...

Anyhoo... While researching my SOA I found that Rusty's offers a kit to do a SOA on the MJ. It includes weld-on shock mounts for the axle tube much like most of us would source from Iron Rock or Barnes or RuffStuff.  While I am not using this kit the shock that they use in their kit is their RX13. It is 15.67 collapsed and 26.07 extended. This may give someone looking for shock info a good starting point.

Another option is the Zone 4920 : 15.41 / 25.95
