jtdesigns Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 You tree hugger..... lol.. I'm with you though.. I wish my kids can enjoy the things I did while a child. If ppl don't take responsibility then that will never happen.
MiNi Beast Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 What get's me the most is that any weekend you can go take a full truck load of trash to the dump (1 dump with 3 miles of these trails) and it only costs a flat rate of $5 of whatever trash, less the tires. I'm just dumbfounded.
sinkrun Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Allways keep a eye out for trash that may have something in it to ID the dumpers wherever you are. I have done this by looking thru bags and have had a few people cited and arrested here in PA!
MiNi Beast Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 Yeah that's what we do up up here when we do our clean up. I was thinking of getting something organized and try to start a annual clean up done there. Just trying to get familiar with the land and regulations for down there.
pingpong Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I am always amazed at how the 4x4 community is blamed for the trash on the trails when most of them time it is the locals who do the dumping. On that note most of the time it is the locals who are making "spider" trails as well, that the unknowing visitor uses as well.
