702_MJ
I wonder why things get tweaked, is it safety reasons?
Pete M
Safety standards, production difficulties, or even that the JK was designed first, there are many many reasons for why concept vehicles don't quite match their production counterparts. I would prefer one with the Gauss Cannon instead, I can take out a tank in one shot with that. Wussiest gatling gun ever. I swear it shoots BBs instead of bullets. :shake: I'd take the cannon too. Seems like the Gauss cannon never makes it into play in halo 3, heck it was barely in the campaign. I used to love playing Blood Gulch? on Coagulation in halo 2. Get in the gauss warthog, I drive(because I am a way better driver, both in reality and halo 2) my roomate takes gunner seat, run over and destroy their tank, their warthog, then just run the map. I had the skill to avoid any other warthogs and the tank, my roomate had the best shot with that cannon......we used to run the map with that combo. I run maps on halo 3 when i get a good gunner, most guys are idiots. You still play?
Pete M
I don't own a 360, but when I visit friends, we play Halo3. Mostly due to COD-4 not having a simple freaking Co-Op mode. :fs1:

Pete M
It's sweet. Just takes some getting used to if you play H3 a lot (you don't have a shield :D ). Problem is that it's a 1-player game. No Co-Op mode, not even when playing online. How am I supposed to share the experience with friends?
702_MJ
nice, so its more realistic. The online thing sounds dumb

Even then I think he grew tired of Halo 3, between taking upper level ME classes projects, and him working we haven't played in months. I miss Blood gulch on coagulation. 702_MJ
yeah that was the map back then. Now when you go on live all you meet is nerds with no lives an just kick the crap outta you.
Sir Sam
yeah that was the map back then. Now when you go on live all you meet is nerds with no lives an just kick the crap outta you. I'm so tired of slayer games. Slayer games have just gotten to the point of seeing who has more man hours of practice with "hand/eye" co-ordination and can headshot you. I can't compete with a 12 year old who plays all day and evening after school. But throw in a game where you have to use tactics, skill, or planning, and I can have some fun. Ever notice how you can just crouch down in one area, throw out a mine or something, wait for someone to nick it, and then finish them off with a crack to the head? Ever play a game where you don't fire a single shot, but wind up with the most kills and fewest deaths? Crack to the head ninja style. There are so many variations you can play where a little strategy and planning pays off in spades, those are the interesting games.
702_MJ
LOL i know what you mean. Everyone rushes in and the massacre starts. Then you get those guys who run there mouth. They get real lucky they're in some other part of the country when they talk. :shake: Me I'm a sticker, give me some grenades and theyre gonna be used. Set some traps with the spike grenades, stick some dude in the head with the sticky, and start bouncing the frags off walls. They get all confused and pissed off.Or you use guerrilla tactics and confuse the crap out of them. LOL but it does get old.

Yup, it seems like there are always younger males(like 16 and under) who really seem to want to run their mouth all the time. Now I'm no prude, and I curse like a sailor when I work in the garage, (or around the house, or when doing homework, or when cooking dinner) but the amount these guys do just for the sole exercise of doing so astonds me. Then you get the people who just want to talk trash and instigate something. Easy to be an E-badass when you are halfway around the country, or the world. But yes, even in a slayer game if you start playing something other than slayer it will cause some trouble. Personally I always loved finding a really good place to snipe from, and then waiting paitently and taking a bunch of guys out. There are so many tricks, and tactics you can use. I always keep my sticky grenades ready to stick someone. Get the shield ready(it makes a great distraction while you sneak in the other way).
