Just wanted to say Hi. I am new to this site. I have been jeeping on and off for years and well it starts again. bought a XJ 91' about 2 months back and now have a 89 MJ in the garage. has d44 in the rear and a 5 speed. a realy heathy sounding 4l that is goin to go in to the XJ. and I think come spring the Box is going to be modifyed and put behind the 4 doors of the xj to make a hybread xj brute.

any way nice site and looks like a lot of good people her from all over with alot of knolage.

Welcome bro. This is a great site because of the all the guys here and the lack of "the clique" that kills alot of boards. Why are you planning to pull the 4.0 out of the MJ and drop it in the XJ.

Yeah the mj is beoned repare so seeings how the 500 dollar xj needs an engine its a good swap. the mj engine only has 150k or about 70k miles on it.

Buy some DOM, and tubing and build a truggy out of the POS.
