Cheech Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I've done some searching around this site for bed rail caps, many have said Dakota or S-10 will probably fit. What's the verdict on the best ones for a LWB MJ since no one makes model specific ones for our trucks? Has anyone bought any and been happy with the fit?

tjbliley Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Probl;em with the caps is the shape and width of the rail itself. You have to fit them before you buy if possible.
edman2007 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 my rails are from a chevy 3500 with the long bed. Just bend the outside of the rail a little and they fit really well. I cut off about 1.5 ft. from it for my shortbed. look up my build.
fiatslug87 Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I have a set of aluminum diamond plate bed rail caps and tailgate cap for a short bed. If anyone wants to pay shipping from 94534 they’re yours!! There are some plastic shims on the inside rear of the rail to make them fit properly, they also have 2 holes through the top surface where a tool box was attached. I forgot to mention there is some oxidation on these and a little rust on the underside from the bed that will probably buff right out.
