Pete M Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Yeah, I wish we could have stayed longer, but we'd been on the road for about 10 hours at that point and my parents were itching to get going. Maybe someday we can have a meet and greet in the Atlanta area. Oh, and I owe you a seat bracket.
jbhill Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 which seat bracket, theres 2 on the seat i got from you he can have lol. loganville is only a couple hours from tellico...
Pete M Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 He needs the front floor brackets (the ones you don't have). I was just going to take them off the seat that came with the 90 since it's being thrown out anyways and the brackets are rust free.
CypherWulf Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 is it me or does it look like there was a fire in the engine compartment?
Pete M Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 Just good ol' Jeep oil residue (and the dirt that it's attracted over the years). The oil gets EVERYWHERE depending on where the leaks are. Oh, and I've finally been able to get more pics up in an official Project post.
shelbyluvv Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I found that if you take the cover off the seat bottom and lift up the foam, the bracket is just held on with 2 nuts! If you could get me the complete left side bracket I would pay you for it. Rust free of course.
Pete M Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 With the seat slider? Or just the floor bracket?
shelbyluvv Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 With the slider too. The rear mount is pretty grungy too.
Pete M Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 Oil leaks are a Jeep's natural defense against rust. :D
