reverse lights

So my Manche has been on the road for a few weeks now,

it has a few minor issues I am trying to resolve,

 

One of them is the reverse lights.

ALL my tail lights, park,brake,flashers,turn signals work.

BUT my reverse lights don't work.

The bulbs look to be good, and the sockets also apear ok,

I figure it must be a bad wire somewhere,,

 

I had a problem like this on my YJ, which turned out to be a bad wire on the transmission, but that was a 5speed, and this is an automatic,,

can anyone tell me where the wire(s) on the automatic transmission for the reverse lights are??

It's probably your NSS (neutral safety switch). The NSS is what controls the lights.

This takes me back to my first replies. Check the fuse block. There is one marked trans. Even the manuals need this fuse to make the reverse lights work.

Could also be the connector in the harness located right behind the drivers side rear tire. I've had corrosion issues with it. :(
