Console options for a bench seat?

Need to keep the benc seat in my MJ, looking for any options for a console or anything to keep a bottle of pop and cell phone secure. Tried the cheap plastic things, but, they move all over.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Handy with wood? I was going to make a nice wooden console that sat between the shifter console (the little dinky plastic one) and the indent in the bench seat.

That's what I did. I made one out of wood and then covered it in felt and vinyl. I put a change holder on the back and I'm still figuring out where to put a drink holder where it won't get in the way of the manual shifter.

Any ideas?

I took a little dinky plastic one, put it in the indent space between shift console and bench, and then moved the bench seat forward to where it wedges it against the shift console and thus holdes it in place.

 

When i got the truck the guy that owned it must have been tall b/c he had it screwed down because he had the bench seat ALL the way back, so that would be another option if the bench needs to be far back.
