  1. I hadnt planned on cutting anything.... this is going to suck. And twistoooo's PM's are working I just havent decided what I am going to do yet, so I don't know what to tell you. don't plan on it I guess, unless a miracle happens. I am going to elias tomorrow morning to talk to them and buy some stuff.
  2. torches not allowed at the jy I am going too, only wrenches and pb blaster lol.
  3. I am going to pull an 8.8 (off an explorer w/disks) soon, are there any tools that I might need that I wouldnt normally think of? Also, should I use a combo of my MJ's leafs and the explorer's? I have a broken leaf on the drivers side (second leaf down from the top). I figure this would be easiest since I could just pull the axle with the leafs still attached. Thanks!
  4. Anyone have 15x7 rims that don't rub when turning 33 or 35" tires? Same question for 15x8! Thanks!
  5. I was looking today and couldnt really find a place to mount one. I still have the stock rear bumper and can't afford to do anything with it for a while, anyone got pics or recommend places for the rear?
  6. would love to have it, would it work with a 8.8 ? Also, I got the TC drop *Just in case* only paid $5 for it.
  7. ya and then you don't have to worry about rocks and crap ripping off the stupid rim mount wieghts and driving home all wobbly.
  8. are you suggesting your tire damaged your quarter panel? ouchie!
  9. YOUR THE ONLY "TEN I SEE!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! FOOOOOK, I WISH I WERE DRINKING AND NOT WORKING!
  10. are those from the connection on the frame or do they replace the entire length? I am wanting to only replace the rubber line with a longer one at the frame. (unibody for those who want to nit-pick)
  11. thats what I was hoping!
  12. Just for the front. I have acquired 4.5" springs, adjustable trackbar, lower and upper control arms, transfer case drop, and shocks what am I missing? I would like to have everything together before starting the project. I know there are tons of threads on this, but I am tired of searching. Thanks!
  13. does the 16" LCA's appear to be enough? do the drop brackets help lower the length needed for LCA's? As the chart I have shows 16" is good for a 3-4 lift.
  14. How much lift do you have?
  15. I honestly don't even know where to begin with a price, but I know that when I look at the bumpers in Quadracrap's magazine that there is no way I am paying 400 for a bumper! I would rather pick up a chunk of steel cut it and weld it on myself, you know? I just don't know if my welder works... but thats a different story.
  16. My interest is solely based on price, but idealy integrated rock rails and D rings and reciever would kick a$$! Square tube or C channel wouldnt matter to me.
  17. ya but a veterans tag normally changes the law a little around here :)
  18. wow thats ballsy, might want to photo shop those lol.
  19. seems like if you are going to replace all this stuff you should look around forums and get your self some "upgrade" components and do yourself a homebrew lift. I would look for LCA bushings if I were just going to replace the LCA's cheaper and unless your current LCA's are bent then you shouldnt need to replace them. That said I don't think 80 is too bad for some new LCA's. But I can only compair it to the 250 it costs for adjustable LCA's needed for lifts over 3 or so inches.
  20. Mitch

    back to work...

congrats glad you got back on your feet!
  21. Did you buy new LCA's? If so what was the length of the old ones?
  22. Story of my life... 30 minutes late always! lol
