I used a hammer and chisel once in a junk yard to break the nut up but the stud wasnt any good after that I just wanted the seat. If you can weld, don't worry about the stud... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Who said anything about being legal? I live in rural indiana. They only care if you have some kind of light pointing forward lol. I've only ever gotten pulled over for my 130 watt halogens after a sheriff brighted me so I brighted him back lol. Nobody follows the rules around here. But I no longer have them installed anymore. Can we find anyone with 97 tow hooks to see the difference? I know the frame side doesnt matter... Wonder if the bumper shape differences would make a difference in any of the mounting of anything? I'm not sure what year my tow hooks came off of... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
