I'm 23 and getting into to my first MJ and I LOVE it. I had a 97 firebird formula at your age. my parents paid to keep it running through the abuse I threw at it as a 16 year old. I eventually flipped it. Long story short, if your paying for the upkeep on a 20+ year old vehicle at the age you are I would step away. I have had my mj 3 months, its a 88 and has 100,000 miles on it. I Bought it for 2600 and prob put into it about 3000+ (of Course a big portion of that was bumpers and a winch), however I have done almost all the work my self. Bottom line, if your looking for a reliable vehicle, look for something 15 years newer and with about 50,000 miles on it.

Been drinking some cold Coors lights all night and spraying PB Blast all over the header and intake of this thing all night so I can hopefully start getting this busted exhaust manifold off and put on this new looonnng leeeegggeeeddd mama and some new iron man motor mounts too. Then its getting towed to the exhaust shop and getting a 2.5 inch high flow cat and 2.5 inch magnaflow put on. Image Not Found

it has a bung for the o2, and as for the egr you will either have to cap it off for rig a new tube into the header. I'm going to cap it off. To my knowledge this is the only bolt on header for the renix

two bolts or screws. Ya man I would just go to a junk yard. I know of a couple of renix 4.0 xj's around here That I could prob get them from as a last option but It would prob cost ya in chipping and what the junk yard wants to part with them for. As a last option of course.

That sucks. have you tried a Junkyard. I'm sure you could grab them off a renix xj. What is it 3 bolts?

I'm putting a pacesetter header on my 1988 Comanche renix 4.0, I want to put new bolts/studs on when I replace the header and pull the intake off. Where can I get them. I already called the dealership and it would take them a week to get in and cost around 80 bucks! Is there other options what are Oem replacements that are cheaper?

This is a Rough country 4.5 inch lift with soa in the rear. I also believe there is 4.5-4.5 inch leaf packs in the back. The back sits 3 inches taller than the front. The PO did it..... If it doesn't have leaf packs it could have shackles and aal I'm not really sure. But I plan on Changing it asap and lifting the front 2 more inches.

I have a 1988 Jeep comanche and I went to tighten up the four screws around the steering knuckle because the have backed there self's out and followed this video. I tightened up the screws and some how when I was putting everything on and trying to light the tumbler cam with the gear on the right I did something and now the right turn signal is on and the car. I don't know if it is in acc. mode or what. Al I can urn the cam all the way to the start position and the truck won't start. I'm really confused now and don't know what I did or how to get it off. Here are some pictures to help. Oh and this also fell out when I was taking it all off and I don't know how it came out. I know It is part of the key buzzer I believe. How does this go in?? and does everything look right in these pictures?

Picture of the roll bar and what about the comanche b pillar lights? -
Not sure If this will help you out but It will give you a Idea of how it will sit. on my comanche the previous owner put a 4.5 inch lift and then went SOA in the back. This was a 2wd truck and he had also converted it to a 4wd. From what I can tell the front axle and back axle are stock sizes but out of a xj. any way Here is some pictires of the back axle after the soa with the 4.5 inch leafs and how the truck sits.
