  1. You can get weld on perches and shock mounts from Ruffstuff Specialties. With 2wd leaf packs I imagine that will net you around 4.5-5.5 inches of lift. You can then match the front with 4.5" coils and spacers if needed, get shocks, control arms, brake lines, and an adjustable trackbar etc. You should then be set, but I'm not sure what that would all cost in the end, I imagine less than 500 bucks. With the Comanches I've heard you don't even need an SYE until you get up real high, like 7 inches, but don't quote me on that.. an SYE is a good investment anyways.
  2. Took the MJ "off-roading" for the first time w/ my Uncle in his 2dr XJ :D The Manche handled like a champ, despite how slick it was. Image Not Found
  3. Normally, you're correct.. but Rusty's offers a full 4.5" lift kit, that includes SOA perches.... http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.m ... sus_xj_kit
  4. I'm looking for a pair of gray buckets from an MJ, as well as seatbelts from an MJ. Willing to pay shipping for the seatbelts, but the seats may cost too much to ship I imagine. Also looking for a headliner, can be stained or sagging as I am cutting out a lot of it for a sunroof. Thanks, Tyler
  5. :agree: I am 17, night blind, and saving my money for these.

  11. Not yet, they felt very smooth going over the train tracks though, not too stiff at all.. Yes, the front has Rough Country coils.. those ride pretty stiff, but they get the job done.
  12. stupid idea to take it swimming in the first place, but $#!& happens
  13. 17!
  14. Got some pictures to share, haven't done much, just got seatbelts, and the passenger seat done. Took the truck through town for the first time today to fill her up. Then we basically decided to flex it out a bit more to test out the shocks (and get poser shots!):
  15. That's kinda what I figured. Thanks for the post.
  16. Full gauge cluster from the XJ ('93) It kinda happened outta no where.. before it was reading what seemed to be correctly, but then we took it down the street yesterday, and now when we went out today it read full lol.
  17. We swapped the HO wiring in from the dash forward, but just adapted it to the rear MJ wiring, following the tutorial on here.
  18. I don't know if I got the correct length shocks for my lift setup, wanted to know what you guys think. In this pic, the shock has MAYBE an inch before it bottoms out.. do you guys think this is about right, or should I look towards shorter shocks/longer bumpstops??
  19. My fuel gauge is reading backwards, when we left the house the gauge read full, we went to the gas station and filled it up, took 17 gallons so we know it definitely was not full lol, anyways.. we leave the gas station and the gauge reads empty, and my light is on... Now before we took it for a test drive yesterday the fuel gauge read correctly, could we have knocked a wire loose or something?? '90 MJ w/ HO swap Stock MJ tank and fuel pump
  20. Last night I drove it down the road for the first time, and even though it was for only like 3 minutes it felt amazing! :clapping: Today I will be getting some of the interior put back in, will get the passenger seat put together and bolted down etc. little things to get it running around town.
  21. Nope, definitely not the same width dude. :smart:
  22. You'll have to reuse the MJ leaf springs, but you can weld your perches on top of the axle, and it will net you about 6.5" of lift.
  23. :agree:
