I know this is a question this forums receives alot. But I'm going ahead and ask. I am wanting to run 33 inch tires on my 1988 MJ. What would be a good lift kit and how high do I need to go without cutting the front fenders.

What's a good high output alternator for a 88 MJ 4.0 with a 9000I winch and off road lights.

I noticed that line was not hooked up in the back of my throttle.

I need a little help. I have a 1990 MJ 4.0. It started running ruff and black smoke coming out the exhaust pipe. It back fires and it sounds like it's skipping while idling. I tune it up and change the fuel filter but that didn't help. Any ideals. This MJ has been setting for 2 years.

Where would you mont another battery at on a MJ. Do they make 200amp alternators for MJ's if so where can you buy one at.

Thanks. I went to the dealer and got a new ignition switch. Everything works better now. Thanks again for your help. Also I posted another question about wiring up a winch.

What's the best way to wire a Warn 9000I winch. I have it wired to the battery. Every time I use my winch it pulls to much power from my battery and I have to stop so it can recharge the battery back up. I'm worry I will burn up my vehicles wiring harness. Any ideals.

You was right Gogmorgo I pulled the steering column down to check the ignition switch and noticed the brown wire had burn into the ignition switch. I took it out and noticed the ignition switch had been burn where the brown wire pugged in. Luck I had a old wiring harness from a MJ I am parting out laying around. I just replace the end and it started working. I going tomorrow and get a new ignition switch. Also would you put a braker on the brown wire to keep it from doing it again. Thanks again my MJ Brother.

Nope it a automatic on the column.

I need a little help. My 88 MJ does not have power to the blower motor, horn, wipers, turn signals and there no power going to the fuse box for blower motor. I do have power to other fuses in the fuse box but not the things listed above. Also my radio and cigarette lighter plug does not work. What may be the problem.
