When my daughter was in 7th grade, her mom dropped her off at school and said she is leaving daddy. Nice mother! I got the divorce papers and she split. Luckily she didn't fight me for custody. First thing to realize is your attorney gets paid the longer he drags it out. I was able to get my ex to meet me at the mall to discuss issues. When we had enough, we'd walk away. But, we both knew it would be cheaper to try to resolve these issues without the attorneys writing letters back and forth. The attorneys hated us getting along with each other. Don't let them make you guys hate each other. Remember she is your kids mom. Call her mom by her name in front of the kids. Don't refer to her as your ex. Kids don't like that. Trust me, things will level out over time. Your kid will realize in time what happened and why. Lots of hugs. For you, go to book stores. They have self help books for people going through divorce. I had a stack of them. While your at it find a decent cook book. My daughter is still with me. She is still in College and loves me more than the world. Get out and take long walks, it worked wonders for me. If you belong to a church, let them know. They will help out as well. Good Luck. BOB

I've had 4.88's with 33's on my XJ, and love em. on and off road. Detroit rear, ARB air front. I was doing about 3000 rpm to get to 65 mph but, around town and off road is excellent. Jeep on Pete! btw, when are we going to the Badlands again? ...BOB

I've been dating and engaged for seven years. (so I have a problem with commitment) The XJ was here before her. She was okay with me buying the 87 MJ. She kids me that she is jealous of my affection for my Jeeps. She just traded in her 98 Laredo and got a 2006 Laredo. No, she did not get the Hemi. She don't like the trails. But, she lets me be me. Plus I usually have a big @$$ stogie when I drive the trails. ...BOB

on my Coleman 5000 the engine will not crank if the oil is too thick. there is an oil sensor that automatically shuts it down if it feels the oil is too low. I had an adequate amount of oil once and it still would not start. I called the 800 number. the tech said rock the generator back and forth the valve that measures the oil level, sticks sometimes. so I did. bam - it started right up. they said always use 5W oil. ...BOB

I painted my home's exterior a couple weeks back. damn, that was a lot of work. Three wheeling buddies helped out (and I paid them) that driveway looks good. I have one about the same size. I'd like to do that project next. ...BOB

I once had a vide issue, it drove me nuts. I found out it was my front Transfer case yoke. it was loose. so I tightened it and the rear TC yoke and all was fine. You may want to try to take off the front DS first. Drive it and see if you still have vibes. It could even be your rear DS. so there is your weekend project. ...BOB

I reupholstered my headliner and installed this marine light I bought on E-bay. It has a bright white light. you can see everything in your MJ. It also has a red light, which lets you see in the cab at night and not get a reflection on the windshield, allowing you to still see clearly. I bought it about a year ago. I actually bought two and put one in my XJ. well worth the money. kind of a crazy weekend. I caught up with Bounty Hunter and Pete on the trail. with 31" All terrains, my 31" dif was hitting on the 33" ruts. I had to take the kiddie trail back. The RROCK rock crawling competition was a nice way to break up the day. ...BOB
