Popped out the windshield to find this once I cleaned it up,... not acceptable!!! So I took it out :) and welded in some new stuff much better :) Now onto the next section,.. -
I have a damage block on my manche, does all kinds of weird stuff if it gets wiggled,... I will be attacking that project soon

Into the windshield frame,... Some small rust holes to be repaired,.. typical of cruddy windshield installs,.. State of the union,... and yes I know it's a mess,.. :) -

Pretty easy to do if you have a welder,.. I drilled out the old door catch welded it up and then used striker plates from either a grand cherokee or durango I forget,.. From this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=27774 -

Could I ask you guys/gals to measure your front coil spring at ride height on level ground w/ 4.0L Motor and tell me the measured height front the bottom of the coil isolator to the pad on the diff where the spring rests, could you also tell me the make, age and advertised "lift" I am trying to find a coil set for the Manche,..., I am looking for a approx ride height of 17" compressed. Also any reviews on said springs would be appreciated good bad or indifferent,...

Well for the floor support I made this upon test fitting it to the floor i decided I hated it,.... to the bin it went and made a second one, heavier gauge like stock and fit it in :) Took about 2.5 hrs to make it and fit it,.. -
Well I yanked the 99 XJ Tranny and got the plastic line and need to look into clutches for the old girl,.. figure if I am in there may as well pop a new one in ,...

Well I plugged away and fitted the floor,... faaaawk! Then I called the Wifey out to get some good smooth welds in on the floor Now the new pan didn't cover 100% of the rust so I have a few more small pieces to make up,.. progress pics up soon :) -

Where are you in the City? how bad are the rockers? I have a few others that have read my posts that my be employing my services to do some work on theirs,.. maybe stop by sometime. I live in Acadia. One house off the corner of Southland and Acadia. It would be great to get together. Send me your digits and we get together sometime. I am off to a friends shop this weekend to take care of the signal stat. The drivers rocker is not bad but the passenger side is rough. I will get some pics for ya. You have a PM! Now a few quick updates,.. Found an AX-15 from a 99 XJ $123.00 :) Jucked up the nose to try and figure out coils for the front,.. :wall: :smiley-scared002: Drivers pan came in this week,... -
