I'm wanting another comanche, i sold my 95 wrangler recently. I'm not looking for anything expensive. I bought one from florida for $500 and it ran forever. I'm wanting one but this time it has to have 4x4 and good running engine. Idc what engine, trans, bed length, tires, ac/heat, it has. I just want a running 4x4 comanche cheap. I'm a mechanic i can fix it up later. Let me know, remember nothing expensive.

replaced alot of the fuses and it seems the A/C is working now. sadly the heat, horn, and clock isnt. tomorrow I'm picking up the Amsoil motor oil along with filter. gonna hold it til i get coolant and flush kits, and the valve cover so I can do them all at once.

probably, but itll be a lot of work lol.

yeah thats the problem, idk if the guy changed the entire front end as a 97+ cherokee. I'm thinking about getting the whole new front end and fenders from a 1990 Cherokee or Comanche. and then paint it

alright, and what about the front passenger fender? would cherokee ones swap in too?

Sup y'all? My '90 MJ has alot of things missing from the dash. like the stereo, vents, plus theres cracks on the top and damage throughout it. I wanted to see if theres a good condition stock dash that can come off a cherokee and still fit on the comanche. I'm still wanting to keep that 90s look on it. and would the dash swap be easy to swap out?

I can't find the fuse and what size its gonna be for the air conditioning and the heater, does anyone know? i know where the fuse box is, but someone turned it upside down and its difficult to read, where on it is it located and whats it labeled as??

replaced spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, and the ignition wires, it doesnt seem to change much but one spark plug was completely wasted.

I didnt work on the MJ today, she seems to be running alot better every time i drive her. however i did some drilling on the YJ to get the center console locked in place, since i won't be having the top on her soon(returning it) and she would be a roadster jeep for the rest of her life ;)

I had my stepdad drive it and see what he can find out about the struggling and power loss between gears. and so far he thinks the timing may be off. he also suggested a tuneup so itll be easier to find the problem. what yall think?

feels like theres a 'hole' in the engine somewhere. loss of power in all gears, worse on the highway, oil pressure drops around 20 alot (stop and go) idle is very low when shifting , 3rd gear would be very high idle then shifting to 4th is like a struggle. you could hear the difference as well. and it literally drinks gas. i filled the 20 gal tank last week and only been driving it maybe 50-70 miles, and its around half tank atm. she still runs strong like a tough b*@$£, but shes still sick :(

will post a vid tomorrow when its bright out. yeah ppl have been telling me head gasket isnt problem, but it feels like it when driving. wish one of my trail riding buddies can come over test drive the MJ to see whats wrong with it

yeah measuring tools must be ase approved to use on vehicles, otherwise its all screwed up. a friend of mines building his boat with a wooden ruler he used in elementary school :shake: no you can't have the engine lol, hes putting it in a 68 camaro in the future, that is after his youngest daughter graduates :clapping:

great idea man, ill have a friend help me with that, hes got experience rebuilding engines. atm hes got a chevy 454 bb, converting it to a 502 :drool:
