It wasn't random Bookie. It was DESTINY  And Smitty, drink another one. There's nothing wrong with his paint job.

Actually CET, if any one company had to buy Jeep out I'd prefer it was Hyundai. I bought my wife their little SUV and I have nothing but praise to give their product, service, and dealership experience. And this is coming from a ,buy "Made in America" ,screw the world kinda guy.

Well....from the looks of it he may be missing more than a few hubcaps  Bookie, I'm not gonna lie to you. CJ's never came with hubcaps :rotfl2:
-
Uuumm, hawk I think you're missing a hubcap on that CJ.

Yeah Dave, but here's the deal. X is a manmade drug extermely capable of causing a huge amount of damage to a human. At the moment we're discussing a plant that has about the same effect on you as drinking half a bottle of rum or BLHTAZ's case of Bud Light Lime.

Now I know where you've been.......... Reading........ reaching for a higher edumycation there buddy??? I think hemp should be used not for getting high but the other major advantages it has in industrial uses.. EDIT: "HIGHER" This book goes into that too. If I remember correctly though Hemp is the form of the plant that carries very little THC but don't quote me on that. I sped read the book and have to go back and actually absorb and analyze the info written. Sir Sam is right on the money part. Although I don't think it would wipe out the whole deficit, there are a couple options the government has to seriously reduce that debt.

Jim I'm glad someone finally brought this topic up. I just finished a very interesting book on the subject by Eric Schlosser called "Reefer Madness". He writes about a lot of the legal issues with marijuana. I'll keep my personal opinions to myself, but in the book Eric states a lot of interesting facts. Here's two. Contrary to popular belief, a large percentage of pot consumed by Americans is actually grown in the mid west, not in a foreign country. (Now we really know what you're doing up there Lead  ) Second thing I found interesting is that the typical punishment for an adult that commits murder in the USA is 11 years and 4 months in prison. Yet there are hundreds of people who are first time offenders serving life sentences in federal prisons for possesion and trafficking weed. Anyone interested in the subject I would highly reccomend you read this book. It's definately eye opening on how the American criminal justice system works.

I'm still futzing with this. New dealer thermostat was put in. No change in the situation. I've been reading a lot of posts since I've been gone. How do you presure test the cooling system?
-
It's not I'm upset about you guys moving the couch. It's I'm upset nobody woke me up and got me off the couch when you guys decided to put the couch on the curb for the trashmen. Do you guys know where couches end up when you do that? Jersey... Do you guys know what ends up in Jersey dumps? Ex mob guys from New York....... And Wahoo, I'm still not happy about the chick you let me talk to that night. Friends don't let friends drunk chat with wierd females. :rotf: I'm back, and on the look out fer a brand new used couch. Oh, and welcome to the club. So are you really a Jedi, or Chinese?

Cooling system issue/questions
Chico replied to bobweiser's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Bob, where are you getting the readings from your laser thermometer? -
I have no idea what your talking about with the cool valve. The 180* thermo was never put in. It has a 195* in right now that I believe might be the problem. Temps have been verified with plenty of laser thermometers. Temp sender in the back of the head has been changed out 3 times. 2 differnt gauges have been used (Hornbrod even calibrated one.) Clusters have been switched twice. Everything works as it should. I'm shooting for the dealer thermostat from BLHTAZ to permenantly fix this, but if anybody has any other suggestions let me know. I'm all ears.

Never boiled over. I've never been in the red zone. I did have two brand new caps fail on new plastic tanks and let coolant out but it's no longer a problem with my metal expansion tank and normal radiator cap. I've let the car sit and idle in my driveway for 3 hours before (when I was running Prestone's cleaner thru the cooling system) and it never overheated. My temp gauge was close to the red zone and laser thermometers on the outside of the thermostat housing would read 215*-225* until I kicked on the fan and HVAC. Like I said, running the electric fan and HVAC on fulltime keep my gauge at 210* or a little above and laser temps on the thermo housing 200*-205*. Everything on the cooling system is new. The only thing I can think of is the thermostat is opening but not completely. It's funny you mention climbs. If I go up a hill the temp goes up slightly, but on the way down the temp drops back down to perfect temp.

Dude, I'm sorry to hear that. Do you pee sitting down now or how does that work? :rotfl2:
-
I put in a brand new one from MO. It made absolutely no differnce in temp.
