I found these and I think I might try them, but I'm not sure what else I'll need. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Su ... =RANRS6423 http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Su ... RANRS60913 Skyjacker has similar kits but I'm not sure how the two brands compare. I'm thinking about keeping it 2wd for a while. Thats a project that I don't want to tackle right now. Is there anything else I'll need to get to make something like this work? I'm probably going to get new shocks as well. I'm just looking to make something work so I can sport these badass tires. :D

Disconnect the wire and test it with an ohmeter to be sure it goes to ground. Is that the same as a multimeter? -

its hard to trace the wire because it joins a a large group of wires wrapped up in electrical tape. -

well I just checked and I can't find a light? Is it underneath the steering column? I looked and theres a lot of spliced wires and some capped ones. The previous owner jerry-rigged a switch for the blower motor underneath the stearing column near the light switch. -

stock radio. I have no idea what the problem is. I thought it was my ground wire from the battery to the starter because it was shreaded and covered with oil near the starter but I replaced it and nothing happened. -
Well I've been having some problems with everything lately. I guess I'll just list them. Headlights and dashlights pulse. The radio works but if I turn it up past a certain volume it cuts out or if I put the turn signals on the radio will cut off. My front right turn signal works but my front left one doesnt. Any suggestions for solutions to this problem?

Is it really that bad to paint the dash black? I wanna do it to mine. I really hate the red interior. I wasnt planning on leaving any red like that guy did. but idk. -
I'm in Ocala/ Marion County. I've heard theres some good trails out in the ocala national forest. We should get a florida meet and greet going.

I think I need a new place to work on my truck.
86ComancheXNate replied to 86ComancheXNate's topic in The Pub
yeah its just a pita to move around it cuz there's like almost no room on either side. -
I'm planning on changing my rear diff oil and my tranny fluid as well. I have an amc 20 rear with 4.10 gearing and 31" tires. Should I use the 75-140 for my rear diff? I'm new to all this mechanical stuff should I put gear oil in the the transmission when I drain it or should I just put transmission fluid?

Well I just cleaned out my garage to see if I could fit my truck in it to work on it. I have a one car garage with very little room in it. Well I cleaned it out and got my truck inside and realized there was very little room to do anything to my truck in my garage let alone close the garage door. Anyone got any suggestions on where I should work on my truck? I thought about my living room but my sliding glass door isnt big enough lol.

Factory Radio issues
86ComancheXNate replied to 86ComancheXNate's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I think it might be a bad ground wire. I'm having a lot of other electrical issues. Like all the lights keep fading in a little and when I put my turn signal on the radio cuts out. My ground wire it kind of shredded close to the block I'll try to get a picture later. -
I just got my radio working again. For some reason when I replaced the fuses it got messed up and wouldnt turn on. Now it works but whenever I hit a bump or something it cuts of or changes stations. It makes it almost darn near impossible to listen to the radio while driving. Any suggestions?
