  1. Sorry man, but you really, really, reeeeeaaaalllllly need so slow down. I pride myself on being able to decipher rough handwriting, and poor grammar, and I had one hell of a time decrypting your post. And There are still a few mysteries... I need to go lay down now. Rob L. I half way typed this and asked a friend of mine to fix it up and Finnish it while I was painting a wall. As you can tell he didn't lol and to say I did all of that on an iPod lol I will fix this when I get home tonight until then sorry.
  2. Mine was a 1995 Ford Taurus gl 3.0 V6. Best 1st car to ever have!!! It was a family friends then it went to my granddad then to me all in the same year. I was the 3rd owner. Kept her running great. I ragged the he'll out of It every time I got i'n the drivers seat. I off roaded more i'n that then I do my Comanche lol took it down 20 mile dirt roads all the time to go fishing with 5+ friends, drifted around corners no, went kidding i'n it every other weekend even pulled an f-250 out stuck up to the frame  that wasn't any good for her lol I raced every one of my friends and beet them every time. Just like sommany of y'all say it's all about how you drive if you can't drive you just won't win. Put a 15" and a 12" kicker subs i'n the truck rives it so I spit the wires off the back speakers  put really BAd speakers i'n the rear hit so hard. For my 17th B-day I got cammo seet covers for the rear bench and front buckets. Had bullet chains to hang over the front seers to. Hen I wanted a truck found a guy witha red jeep Comanche why wanted a car :D so I got the truck and gave him the car and a 100 bucks. God I miss that car I'll get her back one day Brandon
  3. I have just repainted 2 Comanche emblems and put them on where they are supposed to be ( on the front fenders). If you use emblem tape they are really easy to take off don't know about any other tapes, but the Black emblem tape is a pain in the @$$ to get off where an emblem used to be. If you have the paint that came with you truck still there then trying to remove the emblem tape will also rub off alot of paint (happened to me so I just left mine on). To paint the emblem use black acrylic paint that you can by at walmart for like 3 bucks. squirt the paint all over them emblem and use a soft paper towel or cotton balls and rub the paint off of the raised edges. Wipe as much off with out pushing hard, as you can. Then take a fine brush and brush and missed spots in the black. let it sit to dry for 24hr's then go back and use the cotton balls or a SOFT paper towel to gently rub off the paint on the raised parts. may have to get a very very very small amount of water on the towel or cotton ball to get all of it off. Brandon
  4. Thank you but I allready know. The only thing I did not know is that thwre is only one transmission I can use which is great. And I am going to be running 4:10 gears with a ford 8.8 rear end. :D Brandon

  7. yeah OA is fun to just never did the brother hood thing. Ill get around to it :shake: thanks and this is one cool thkng about gettig it this year(BSA 100th year) is that I get this: :D Brandon
  8. Sry to here that but that is what most do One away? Why'd you stop? I was 16 when I got mine, my brother and I shared a ceremony. Thats a cool story. Thanks? Thanks and thats good to know. yeah thats as my scout master used to say, the three fumes of high school, Car fumes, perfumes, and sport fumes. I think I messed that one up lol but you get the point. Thanks Thank you Well thats no good :fs2: lol Thanks They don't like it when you eat the brownies. Rob L. The Brownies did. :rotf: Thats just bad One away? Why'd you stop? I was 16 when I got mine, my brother and I shared a ceremony. It got real weird for me around 8th grade. We had a couple of guys, and one in particular, that wanted to run it like a pseudo-militaristic organization. Got to the point where interacting with those guys and some of the parents was not fun. Basically those guys were WAY too serious and sucked the fun out of it. I can only imagine what a joyless, annoying(to other people around them) existence they live now. Those guys were destined for two things - being cannon fodder, or an a$$hole law enforcement officer(not saying all LEO's are that way). Plus I just kinda rolled through the ranks like "why not" I was the first guy out of all of my friends that joined the troop from cub scouts to get any rank other than tenderfoot, and then when they started to move onto second class scout I moved up to first etc. Just kinda stayed ahead of the curve and went for it. Served as quartermaster for all our crap for a year or two also. It was fun for awhile, but me and militaristic higher-ups don't mix well, I'm WAY too egalitarian for that. I'm really sorry to here that. Yeah I have known that for years I also tell them both all the time lol Thank you Congratulations. Are you going for your palms? Thanks! and I'm 18 now I'm an assistant scoutmaster now. Thank you That sure would be cool! and thanks Done lol Thank you No I did not but I might get it when I get every thing else. I just wish I could have had one from when Bush was still there but thats a diff story lol Thank you Brandon
  9. :agree: the "older style" fits the older style truck the new one's don't. Brandon
  10. As of 19:38 12/8/10 I became an Eagle scout. I passed my board of review with flying colors and will have the stuff back from nationals within the next few weeks. I turned evey thing in on 11/19/10 (day B4 my b-day). I am super glad that i earned this rank and am sure that if any body is an Eagle scout or knows some one who is, you understand just how hard it is to get. In 100 years of scouts in the U.S. Only 2 million people have ever received Eagle which works out to be about 2% of all scouts earn the rank. Just thought it was a nice thing to share :chillin: Brandon
  11. oh yeah very nice  Brandon
  12. You know I kinda did this when I got my 1'st batch of CC cards I followed this one comanche for 5 min and then I lost track, I did this 3 times over the next few weeks because I saw it at the same street pulling out after school. I finaly found out that the guy lived by the school and when i Went by to say hi and give him a card. well come to find out I freaked the guy out and told me leave or he will call the cops  so I tossed a card at him said sorry for the misunderstanding and left. Now every day I pass his house leaving school and his truck is there. I felt so bad and maybe he will come around and look at the club. or he is already here lol Brandon
  13. Well the cowl hood looks great and I'm sure that it works great to, how ever that is way more $ then I am willing to pay. Not only do I like the look of Hood louvers but I like the idea. My only concern is the water going into the motor. So now from what ya'll have said i can assume then with drip pan's that can make the point of a hood vent (which is to take heat out of the engine compartments) non effective but also keep most water out of the engine bay? which makes hood vent's pointless other then looks. Am I right about that? Brandon
  14. Amazing!!! Its so sad that this is the last NOS rear bumper out ther. Gonna look good. Make sure u be nice to her! Brandon
  15. Ok then that makes things easy huh? thank you Brandon
  16. sry I forgot yes auto. I am not sure at what transmission I have now Brandon
  17. What is a good transmission to use for the my 4x4 swap? right now I have a 2wd 89 with the 4.0 I6 dana 35 rear end. don't know if that was a help. Thanks Brandon
  18. Ok thank ya'll and btw it was 26 degrees out brr :( any ways almost all hood "louvers" come with drip pans right? so I really don't see what mkbruin is takin about with "hydrolocking if you hit the water hard, of frying your ECU if you see heavy rains, etc." is that somthing to worry about when getting hood vents? because i have had my fair share of water in the engine :fs1: Brandon
  19. would adding hood vents or hood "louvers" effect the heat in the winter? just a thought Brandon
  20. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Cherokee-NO-RESERVE-FL-COUNTRY-RARE-LEATHER-COLD-AC-AUTO-4-0-CRUISE-WOOD_W0QQitemZ250737187322QQcategoryZ6281QQcmdZViewItem#ht_22514wt_1165 Brandon
  21. If I bought that I would sell my truck cuz this one is already done :D very nice sure hopes some one on here buys it Brandon
  22. I don't think that any body make's the decals for the pioneer so finding one for the full size of this :dunno: maybe somthing custom that would be cool. I don't think lower it or lift, can't you leave it the same hight? Brandon
  23. Lights much? lol good build love that roll bar to. Brandon Oh yeah where did you get that front tag? thats cool!
  24. I wouldnt go for it but maybe then I'm playing devil's advocate :dunno: I understand that fighting rust is one of the hardest things I have ever done with my truck. Down here in FL you would be lucky to sell that truck for $800 let a loan almost 3k  I think you can do better then that. Unless of course its a real 92 then you should go with it  In the end it is your decision Brandon
  25. well that is not very good lol thanks about the hood vents I really like the look but more then that it cools the engine. And cooling is such a problem In Florida :( dose it effect the heat for the cab? Brandon oh and thanks to this now I am looking into one of these:http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27111
