I only need the tailgate handle, not the rest of the assembly. Doing further searching I found another thread where a user made a cad sketch, but he didn't seem to attach any of the dimensions. Unless he did and I passed over them.....

I could've sworn I read in a thread somewhere that a certain year of S10 or Silverado tailgate handles would bolt onto the stock MJ tailgate latch mechanism. I cannot find the thread anymore and I also don't really care about having an OEM handle, so I'd rather not pay $100+ for one. Does anyone know if that was true or not?

I checked under the hood and I think I found the cable. When pulling on the wire on the left, it didn't feel like there was slack in the line. The connection to the bracket felt a little wobbly thought. Might just have to ziptie the pedal up higher in the cab.

I added a pic of the pedals for reference. In all my other cars the gas is always slightly lower than the brake but in my MJ its the deepest on any vehicle I've ever driven. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that.

My gas pedal is sunken pretty far down into the floor and I'm not sure there's any way to adjust them so there's less slack in the line. I found a replacement cable on rock auto which I linked here but it looks like there's just as much slack between the distances of the bolts. Is the bumper from the sport a different material than the one OP used?

Would this setup fit with a class III hitch or is the bumper too low for it?
