What all do you need to convert the front to a later model Cherokee just the front clip or are the fenders and hood different? -
1988, Jeep, Comanche Pioneer 4.0L I6 / BA 10/5 soon to be AX15 / Soon to be Np231 / Soon to be Dana 30 / Dana 35 currently 3.07 soon to be 3.55 / Long Bed In Lionville, PA Currently my daily driver but is hopefully getting a 4x4 conversion and lift kit at the beginning of next year. Notes: Anything that makes this comanche different from the rest. Skid plates, plows, lights, bumpers, weird factory options... Would also be a good place to note the exterior color, and the interior color and combination, IE, Bench or buckets, Vinyl or cloth, column shift or floor shift. 65,000 Miles, front and rear facing fog lights with custom switches in center console see pic, stock bumpers, grey interior, bench seat, manual doors and windows, vinyl, floor shift. This truck was bought about a half hour from where it currently is then the truck was driven to Kodak Alaska with my aunt. She gave it to me and we got it shipped back home. Also this truck was in a head on collision before it went to Alaska in the first place and was almost totaled. Shes great now and hopefully gonna be my offroad machine for next summer. I currently own her. She was given to me by my aunt who bought it new.

Front Speaker Location....
Fire4755 replied to jimmy21669's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
There are a couple solutions. 1. The easiest- Get door speakers and just get some quick disconnects for the wires so there easily removable. 2. Make a custom box ether under the seats or in the dash itself which is harder and you'd have to use smaller speakers. There probably are more places to put them but theres a couple ideas -
how high was the spring over without blocks I'm thinking of doing it to mine

This is my 1988 Comanche Pioneer. 4.0L 5 speed with a cap and bed liner. Jensen head unit. Kenwood door speakers, soon to get amp and subwoofer. Custom center console and 3 output power block for gps and stuff. Currently converting to 4x4 and swapping to the ax15 and putting in the NP231. 65000 miles. dana 35 rear soon to be dana 30 front. will get lift kit, take off cap, new paint, tool box, line x the bed, and new tires.
