Thank for all the info. I ended up going with the 3 inch lift kit from Skyjacker. So far, I am happy with everything including the ride.

I went with a 3 inch lift from Skyjacker And am very happy with the ride. Running 31s also.

I bought a 92 on bed MJ a couple months ago and have been prepping it for my dd and play truck. I put in a 3 inch Skyjacker lift with the Black Max shocks. Also used the Rough County long arms, adjustable track bar, and detachable swing arms. I had a shop do all the work, but I very much like the ride. Washboard roads smooth right out. This is actually the first suspension I have messed with so I feel I got very lucky. My wife even likes the ride over her 2018 JKU Rubicon.

My name is Don. I am in SW Idaho. Picked up my first MJ about two months ago. Have since got the tailgate mounted, added a 3 inch Skyjacker lift, new wheels, and tires. Think I will go all white paint with black stripes/accents next. Trying to decide. It has 199xxx miles with the 4.0 straight six and five speed manual transmission.

I ended up going with the 3 inch Skyjacker lift and added 31x10.5x15 tires and new wheels. I like it.

I will look at these other kits. Still exploring options. Thanks Smokeyyank--- I want it for looks and to help it along with of road capabilities. Not hard core wheeling, but still not afraid to take the occasional challenge that comes along.

Has anyone used and/or failure with the 3 inch lift kit sold online by Rough Country? It looks like it includes new coil springs, add a lift leaf and need hardware. I am considering it for my 92 Comanche. Anyone with some good, bass, our ugly would be appreciated. I would also consider other options if someone has some. I am looking for a little lift (max 3 inches) so i can comfortably run 31 inch tires. Thanks in advance.

This is a 1992 MJ with a long bed. 4.0 straight six engine. I just got this truck a week ago and of course already love it. I don't know much else about it yet, still learning where and how to look things up. I live in Idaho and have been driving the truck pretty much daily since I got it. It has a little over 199000 miles on it. I am looking forward to fixing this truck up and get it looking better than my wife's 2018 JKU.

PeteM, I just got signed up on the site. I recently got a 1992 Comanche. I was going to go into the for sale area and look for some parts, but found out I can't use that area until I have ten posts. I saw you have several beds. Thought I would see if you could help out. I am looking for the hardware that holds the tailgate to the bed. I handed a great tailgate, but previous owner had a topper on it and had removed and gotten rid of the hardware. Thanks for your assistance.
