OH and its FREE yes FREE. just thought i would share. Sorry to the guys outside of the US someone said it only works with a US zip code?? hope some of you enjoy as i am. Cole

It makes me think water pump. Just cutting the water at speed then at idle it chugs it around enough to work? They arent to expensive like 30 bucks so you could do that swap and see what it looks like. Cole

I know thats why i think rough country would be the cheapest and still be good (from what i hear) I could get rustys  . That should get some reply's eh. Someone said if your a member on NAXJA you can get a discount from RC but i am not a member and don't care to be(not a nice group of folks like here). Thanks though Cole

Whats the Biggest XJ MJ spring Out there???
JOMJ87 replied to Pollockzrodz's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
with that tall of spring i would think a 2" spacer up front wouldnt hurt any flex. So that an option as well. I wanna see this when its done. What size tires you runnin? Cole -
I have been looking at some rough country XJ rear leaf packs. 280 shipped on ebay. Does anyone have a cheaper place to buy from or is this a good deal. don't have to be Rough country just 4.5" springs for the rear of a XJ. Thanks guys Cole

You could do it as a locked announcement and have the vendors PM you there details for you or Eagle to add in the thread. I wouldn't want non MJ owners or members to have something there. Just board members that have a company and are active on the site. I can see what you mean about the pissing match i just like to be able to check with a MJ owner and fellow club member first then go outside?? can't wait to see what you figure out. Cole

Hey Pete you think we could do a sticky in the Classifieds for all the vendors to post who they work for and info on discounts. I know there arent many But when people need parts it would be cool to try a local member of our little community to get the part from. If you made a sticky for them to post there websites and a quick product list it would be quick and easy to check those first. Cole

6 cylinder mustangs did because of the aluminum heads they used. Not that hard of a job. I used a Haynes and was 17 and did it on the Mustang and at 15 i did it on the MJ. Took longer then 6 hours cause of the age i was and not knowing half of what i was dealing with. Cole
-
Just make sure the length and ends are the same. Any should work if the are Double cardon or CV depending on your setup and the length is right. Cole

Well for instance I just came across a XJ website i had never in all the days of searching seen. Once on the site i have found places like detours offroad products i believe is the name and i had never seen it in a search. Like when you search for a part there are only a handful of shops show up that offer it when you know there are more. I guess they don't have "tags" associated with them for them to be found on yahoo or google searches? Cole

Those things don't beat out to good. Maybe drillin them but its a tight spot. I cut the bottom part of the hinge off and worked the doors off like that then drilled them out and replaced the hinge pins. I was making mine removable so i didnt car to cut that off. Cole

Well I am currently working on getting a XJ to i hate to say this Replace the MJ (try to i guess would be better) I have changed alot on the MJ and the only factory things left is the sheetmetal. 8 Years ago it was my first vehicle too. So with all that sentimental value one would ask how do you get rid of it and my answer???? Sell it to family who understands (my Cousin) the love and the fact that if they ever sell it or want to you are #1 on the list to call and the price better be good. Me and my cousin have a contract of sorts just verbal but he knows if that truck gets hurt in any way and its his fault or if he sells it without giving me a chance first then its his head when i get to him!!! :D I am helping him build it and gave him a price a brother deserves and i believe he will take care of it or i will when i visit if need be. Its the only way i could tell myself it would be OK and it still is a teary moment to think of. Luckily it will be awhile till he gets the money so i got some time. Good luck and tell your dad "its a MJ thing you wouldnt understand" :dunno: Cole

Speaking of i have noticed there are some hidden forums that google and yahoo don't know about. You get lucky and here about them??

Well in almost 5 years i finally seen snow at Shaw AFB. I have seen ice storms and flurries but no more then that. I woke up Tuesday to about a inch of snow  It was kinda funny cause they closed school just because the thought it might snow alittle the night before. I am just glad i got to see it again after 5 years out of the mountains of NC. I wish we had 8"s though :brows: Cole

I need someone with a stock MJ to measure from the shock mount where the shock bolts to the axle to where it mounts on the body. This is the easiest place for me to get a accurate measurement and I'm trying to figure out my lift height so i know what I'm working with when i put everything on the XJ. Thanks in advance Cole

After Lift My Rear Tires Rub
JOMJ87 replied to hogelectra's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Let me try to see if i read write. You are rubbing on your bed wheel well on the inside of the tire? Mine does this and i have a shiny spot from rock crawling. Theres not anything to tear the tire so i havent worried with it. You would want less backspacing if this is the case. Here is a pic is yours rubbing where my shiny spot is its a old pic so it bigger and brighter now. :D (the only thing close to chrome on the truck) Cole -
OH and know theres a Yahoo one too.

I have seen it several times since i decided i missed this place and came back after a long while. I just wandered what it was. I knew you controlled the others and the spammers from ahile back when you started the non-auto register. Cole

Whats that google BOT purple person thing logged in??? I have seen it a few time Cole

I have been at Shaw AFB for over 4 years and at the mention of snow the whole town goes into freak out mode. It doesn't snow down here :fs1: but I have seen a couple of really good ice storms which suck cause you can't play in ice except climbing over all the damn broken pine trees that are panted like dominoes for some reason. Anyways Its supposed too Like 70% chance some snow. I enjoy it (Originally from Western NC) but not down here it looks like people are wearing blindfolds and the passenger is pointing them where they need to go. :ack: Cole
