I believe that’s the only problem. It started by the Comanche pulling real hard to the left. Found out a caliper was bad so he replaced both front calipers, rotors and pads. Tried bleeding the system and has had issues ever since. I believe. Let me ask you this Pete, will a Jeep dealership be able to fix it? Or is it too old?

Thanks Pete. It’s hard for me to find out what he is doing when I don’t know. Haha. I know the part from above has been removed for some reason so I need a replacement from somewhere. He was trying to put a Cavalier Prop valve in it I believe. I’m not sure what to do at this point. That’s the only thing keeping me from getting the Comanche back.

This might be a silly question but how do you fix this? If I bought one of these would it help fix it or should I just have him take it to a dealership. I’m wondering if the previous owner removed something.

Hi guys can someone recommend where I can get a portioning valve for my 87 Comanche. Disk in front and drums in rear. My guy is having some brake issues with the Comanche and I’m not sure what he is talking about. He said I need a new portioning valve. What kind do I need to buy? Thanks

Good Morning guys, I am looking for a set of turbine wheels for the Comanche. I have the old Jeep style wheels currently, which look nice, but think the turbines would look sweet. If anybody has a set or a good recommendation where I can get some let me know.

Hey guys, I have started my 87 restoration project. Just trying to make him a respectable work truck not show truck. So far have put in front to back exhaust, new calipers, rotors, and pads on front. I am working on fixing rust issues and some dings then primer and original Briarwood metallic paint. I have a guy helping me with that. Lol. I have new headlight bezels and markers too for it. I will post a couple pictures of the progress. The last picture was the day I brought him home.

Will both of those fit an 87 Comanche?

Come and grab it someone. I still have it! I will scrap it out if no one wants it unfortunately.

Does that have the orange tab that lets you know what gear you are in?

You don’t happen to have instructions how to do that do you? Are the new lights 3 wire too?

I’m not sure I know how to do that yet. Lol. It is a 4x4 auto on the floor. I can’t read the D,R,N. It’s worn out. It is just a plastic plate it looks like. Hope that helps.

Hi guys I am looking for some used parts for the Comanche. First, I need a floor shifter indicator bezel. I can’t read my letters on mine and it’s cracked. Second, I could use the 2 cargo lights in each corner of the truck. I know that one will be hard so if someone could point me to a website or if someone has a couple laying around I would buy them. I am curious to what websites guys go to buy new parts for their Comanches. Whether it’s new parts or aftermarket. My Comanche is in need of a few things and I’m not sure who is the go to place to buy them. Of course I will look on here as well. Any help is appreciated guys.
