What is everyone paying for gas? I just filled up for $2.95/gal here in Houston yesterday! :eek:

Should I repaint my rims black? This is what they looked like on my rubicon before I had them sugar blasted. I'm thinking of just repainting them instead of wasting the money on powdercoating.

Those of you with a Co2 tank, where to you get them filled at? I bought my 20lb power-tank used from a buddy of mine and need to get it filled. Where did everyone mount theirs?

What gauge wire did you use on that accessory outlet? What kind of fuse did you use (if any)? I ran 12 gauge wire with a 15amp inline fuse.

I installed some used 97+ cherokee door seals yesterday and now have a huge @$$ water leak problem. Will be replacing them with some brand new seals soon.

I bled the air through the temp sensor and got her running. :D

I have no idea what I am doing. I changed my water pump and thermostat last night and thought all I had left to do was add my coolant. I filled up the coolant bottle and it won't take anymore. I ran the truck to 230º and nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Got the KC's wired up on a relay with 12 gauge wire. They are only 55w fog lights, but still nice to have. This is were I mounted my switch. New water pump, 180º thermostat and electric fan.

I put my relay's on the inner fenders next to all the other electrical stuff. I'm thinking about using Pete's tupper-ware idea to keep them dry. Pic of my electric fan installed. This is where I mounted my fan switch. It only has power when the key is on.

What would it cost to do a camo job like that? Is it just vinyl?

Your right......I remember working on a '87 a couple of weeks ago, and notice it didn't have the Balast Resistor. Was a no start MJ........brought the price down on it too :brows: JohnQ - I posted the part # for you, that should have helped at the counter?? I called Oreilly's Auto and talked to a different salesman. I gave him the Advance Auto # and he gave me a Borg/Warner resistor Part # RU12. It doesn't have an ohm value on it, I hope its the right one.

I went to two different auto parts stores tonight. The idiots behind the counter couldn't help me.

Mine broke. Do we really need it? Can I just splice the two wires together or should I replace it?

What year is your truck? On the Renix, there is NO connection to the factory thermostat. The aux fan is controlled by a sensor that screws into the bung in the driver's side radiator tank. The sensor is basically an ON-OFF switch, which in turn connects to the control side of a standard relay that's mounted to the inside of the driver's side fender. With the 91+ Chryco system, the aux fan is controlled by the ECM. You'll need a factory wiring diagram to figure out where to tap into the wiring harness to access that circuit. My truck is an 88. I was hoping there was a harness I could get so I could just plug and play. What gauge wire should I be using to hook up the fan?

John; Have a good used one (OEM, not aftermarket) from a 1998 (has the curved blades) I'm willing to part with cheap. Shoot me a PM if interested. Looks like this - direct bolt-in replacement for the older straight blade style. Don Thanks but I just bought one from rejeep and got it last Friday. How do you tie it into the factory thermostat? Do you have a picture where the wires connect?

I have that same wire just hanging around behind my cig lighter outlet. I just taped it up with electrical tape and called it good. I also tapped into the ground and a constant hot and ran a second power outlet, comes is handy.
