Tackled the AAL today. Got everything done except putting on the new brake lines. Here are some pics of the install. My beat up used JKS disconnects. I need to get a new peg for the driver side. Anyone have an extra one? She has a nice stance. It's too bad it won't last. I have some adjustable upper control arms on their way and some new bushings for the dana 30. :D

My house is still not done! If anyone from texas wants a custom home built do not use Albritton Custom Homes. I will be seeking legal representation monday morning. I am sick and tired of waiting on this arsehole. :headpop:

Does anyone know what rights a home buyer has? As some of you know I have been waiting for a house to be finished. I signed the contract on Oct. 14th of last year. My contract states that the house will be finished no later than Jan. 31st. Over the past few months my builder has been working maybe one or two days a week on my house. He didn't even touch it in the month of May or even return one of my several voice mails. My lender and him have agreed on several closing dates but he has yet to meet any of them. Now my interest rate has gone up and I am losing money. Not to mention I have a new baby coming at the end of this month and I don't have a house for him. I can't descibe the stress this has been putting on my family. Verbally the builder and I agreed on over $6000 in upgrades, he can kiss that good-bye. Is there any legal action I can take? Breech of contract, anything?

Will the rear brake line work as well?

Are interest rates climbing or falling nation wide? My lender just raised mine from 6.87% to 7% and I am suppose to be closing in a couple of weeks. Should I look into different financing or will that hurt my credit and possibly increase my rate even more?

Do I put these back on after I add the AAL or do the cheesy little spring clips replace it?

Where do you put the AAL spring in the spring pack? I'm sitting about an inch shorter in the rear. Should I bother with the aal's or just get a 2" cherokee shackel to level it out? How much lift will the aal from a 3" kit will I get. Is it closer to 2"?

Thanks. I have some extended brakes lines I'm putting on the front tomorrow. I just need to get one for the back.

Started on my temporary lift today. I got the front almost done. Still need to put my extended brake lines on and get my disconnects on. I kept my 2 inch spacers on so I'm hoping to end up with around 3.5 to 4 inches of lift with the weight of my bumper. I didn't measure anything yet but it definately looks taller to me. I plan on working on the rear in the morning. If the AAL doesn't level it out I will put on longer shackles for now. I need to try and get a longer brake line and some u-bolts in the morning. My little helper! :D Comparing the new lift kit to the old stuff. Putting on the new lift and getting my @$$ kicked by the new control arms. :oops: I'd better put new brake lines on before I take her off road. New RE track bar. I have no idea if I have it set to the right length or not? Front end in the air. Can't wait to get the back done!

Do I need longer U-bolts or can I pick up a stock set from the auto parts store? Is there a rear brake line I can get that will work from another truck? I think I read somewhere on here that I could use a dakota rear brake line.

Do you guy's think I can get away with using the stock U-bolts?

Not a problem anymore. The new bushings were about a 1/4 too thick. So I got a bigger F-ing Hammer to get the job done! :D

Anyone know an easy way to get new controls arm on. The rubber bushings are too big for the brackets. I have tried a hammer and using the floor jack to press them on. I'm out of ideas. :headpop:

How many spring clips do I need to do an AAL? I only have two, am I suppose to have four?

What is the best way to tackel an Add-a-leaf kit? All my experience is with jeep tj's, I have never messed with leaf springs before. Where is the best place to buy new U-bolts? What size? Can I buy new spring clips for the aal kit, my kit is missing two?

Did you have it on your comanche? Any pics?

I haven't had any problems since I changed the water pump, but she ran hot @ around 230º on the way to work today. I must still have some air in the system. She's been running around 200º since I put in the new pump and thermostat.

Got something to get me by until I save up the money for my tnt Y-link, and new rear leafs. 3" Rough Country lift, RE adjustable track bar, and some JKS swaybar disconnects :D I know AAL's, but I'm hoping they last until I get ready to upgrade. I still need to get some adjustable upper control arms and new brake lines.

The original plan was to have them powder coated graphite grey. I like the black look, but the dirty sugar blasted look is growing on me. :D

I have been on one a couple times in my Rubi, just for fun, no score. Haven't had a chance in the MJ yet.

I might be trading my Rubicon in on this! :cry: I have a new house note, added 60 more miles per day, plus a new addition to the family coming in July. I can't justify the 10 miles per gal and a $640 monthly note for the Rubi anymore. Stupid gas prices. :mad:

I seen on MSN today that people are paying $4.99/gal somewhere in Cali!

I wonder how long it would last or how many tires you could air up?
