kbb shows that it is worth around $3500 for a 2wd in good condition. The guy is asking $3000. I am thinking of offering him $2600 cash because of the AC issue. I need a new daily driver. My comanche is going in the shop and I sold my rubicon last monday.

Anyone have any good leads on a wrecked 03+ Dodge Ram with a hemi motor?

I'm thinking of getting a 1998 jeep cherokee sport? It is 2wd and in good condition. No body damage. The only thing wrong with it is the AC compressor went out. She has around 90,000 miles on her. What is she worth?

I tried the little filter deal on the front and it just filled up with oil after a few miles. So, I put a PCV valve on both ends. I have one on the front inverted so it only allows air to go in and one in the back that only allows it to vent out. I also put a larger hose on the rear vent to the manifold. Seems to be working for now. Update* I was driving home tonight after work and could smell oil burning. :headpop: The oil started leaking from around the oil cap, not alot but enough to matter.

I had a warn 9.5ti, and loved it, but it wouldn't fit in my XJ ARB. :cry: For $315 shipped, I think I might give it a try. It's still better than no winch at all. I've been there when you need a winch and don't have one, And that Sucks.

Is this a good winch? I have only had Warn products in the past. If it isn't junk it is darn good price. Anyone ever have one or use one before? I would shop around. I got my extra set off from ebay for $500 with a set of 305/70 MTR's with 60% tread on them.

I'll have to look. The cops don't mess with us too much here in TX. I painted the ones on my Rubi with black tint and never got bothered. I did find out the hard way you don't what to wire the lights as running lights, they kind of melt. :oops:

I picked up my Bull bar and Dana 44 today! :D Here's a comparison shot of the bull bar next to the rock lizard. My little helper! I need a winch, I found out my 9.5ti won't fit. :cry: What you guy's think? I have lots of plans for the 44. I hoping to have it re-geared and locked before I put in the my MJ.

I will know more in the next couple weeks. No idea what they are willing to do just yet.

The guy I bought them from has another set and t-case for pretty much the same price if your really interested. :cheers: Can you find out if the guy still has the other set? Will have some cash the first week of September.

I may be getting partial sponsorship from a local performance shop. All I have to do is run their name and logo on my tailgate or back window when the truck is done. :D Will get all the details worked out in the next couple weeks. Need to make sure it will fit and if they can make all the electronics work.

What would it take to make one fit in a comanche? I might be finding out in the next few months if I can get all the details worked out? :D

I'm picking up a brand new ARB Bull bar and a Dana 44 out of an 87 cherokee this weekend. I'm also going to transfer the Warn from my rubi to my MJ. The Dana 44 has 307 gearing, sucks, but it will get me by until I put 33's on my truck.

Not worried about winter driving down here in TX and I have the MJ for all my off road fun. Now having a 420hp grocery getter to pound the roads with sounds like a lot of fun to me! :D

I'm going to look at her tomorrow and see what they will give me for a trade in on my Rubi. And she's a 4x4! :D

So my neighbors across the street are rich and are getting a swimming pool put in today. The contractors came by and asked if I needed some free dirt. Yeah for me, I ended up with 8 loads of free dirt. Now all I need are about fifty more to finish my landscaping. I am thinking about leaving a couple loads in piles, just for fun! :D I couldn't resist, this is how I left my Rubi parked!
