  1. Looking good! Good luck with the project, what are your plans with it?
  2. i just did, he seems to have a hard time getting rid of it so if this quarantine is over soon he will hold on to it for me. thanks for the find!
  3. dang i was really ready to go roadtrip down there but if i leave the state i have to self quarantine myself. Thanks for the reply though!
  4. Looking for any sorts of camper shell for a lwb, I don't care for color or if it has windows. I'm willing to drive a good distance or even pay for shipping if it's a reasonable price.
  5. I don't know I'd you've already done it but I did the same and I worked, I would check your t case fluid once your home. It could leak through the tail housing.
  6. Found this mint condition beauty in town
  7. found these under my vinyl flooring, anyone know anything about it?
  8. yeah, i saw the truck and got real excited because i saw next to 0 rust... looks can be deceiving i guess
  9. Just started ripping out the interior, getting ready to clean it all up and replace all the rusty screws and the screws that weren't even there. I pulled the back half of the gross vinyl flooring and it was perfect , i moved onto the front and its awful, i can't see the driveway yet but its close.
  10. Anyone know where I can get the christmas tree clips that hold on the rear cab vents? I've looked around at local auto parts stores and can't seem to find the right ones. My truck only came with about 4 total and they rattle and I'm afraid one will blow off and I'll get water in there.
  11. i prefer buckets so i can have a center console, but a bench just has a quality about it. maybe its just nostalgia but benches are cool, buckets are practical imo.
  12. by oem do you mean the removable liner? The problem with removable liners is water can get stuck underneath and rust out your bedfloor, i would do a spray in bed liner, linex, rhino liner, and raptor liner are all pretty good. i would go with linex if you could though
  13. it all seems overplayed but i would rather people overplay it and have it not really spread, instead of no one caring and we end up with half the population with the virus
  14. Here in Helena MT i know of 4 total including mine. 1 is clearly not used, 4 flat tires and about 8 different colors of spray paint, 1 is a lwb on 33s that is owned by a employee at a local fab shop, and 1 more which is a stock lwb pioneer with a topper. I only know of 1 of the owners, the man with the pioneer, he commented on a Comanche hoodie i was wearing saying he had a pioneer, not positive it was the same truck but I'm 90% sure.
  15. Oooh I've been thinking of doing the same, ill check back in the future!
  16. looks sweet! can't wait until mine is sitting like that. ill probably end up taller in the future but something like this isn't a bad start! What brand lift is that?
  17. Good idea, didnt think of that. thanks!
  18. Hope this is the right spot, I'm not used to forums yet. If not let me know. Also if there are any other threads asking the same thing please redirect me. I'm looking for pictures of lwb mj's, I'm trying to picture mine where i want it eventually but no one really lifts or does much with the longer trucks. Here is mine, except i have aluminum wheels now. i allready have a 4.5 inch lift and 32s in the garage ready to go on after i fix a fuel pump. this setup is temporary until i find the right setup which i hope this thread will help me find
  19. I've lurked the forum for a little while and never heard about the lost records, interesting. isn't the end of the world. Any info is better than no info, Thanks.
  20. 1986 Jeep Comanche i don't have a photo right now 2.5 i4 ax5 5 speed (i think) np207 transfer case build date is unknown, sticker is not there currently in western montana i currently own it was black with red interior, some idiot spray painted it gray. it is more like grey with black splotches since the person who painted it did zero prep work. used to have a bench seat but the guy i bought it from swapped buckets from a 2 door xj and i put in a matching center console from a xj it is stock right now but i already have a 4.5 inch lift and some 32s i plan on putting on it soon, i have big plans for this mj since it has next to zero rust other than a small patch of surface rust (i havent checked the floorboards though) I also plan on either swapping in a small block or tdi. I'm also getting ready to prep it for a new coat of RAM delmonico red paint this summer or winter.
