  1. Now that you have all this down to a science when do you want me to drop our jeep off? It's all looking good wade. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. Is there anything on this old gas tank I should keep for selling off? The tank is rusting out and has a couple pin holes in it so it's getting scraped. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. Looking good wade. Let me know when you want to go test it out. Could always make a trip to badlands if this stay at home order ever goes away. This is Ben from Naxja by the way. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. My grandpa has been doing the ham radios since I can remember. Ive talked to him a couple times about getting my license and what not just never done it. He has antennas strung up all over his property. It's pretty neat who they can reach off a little radio and how far away they are. I do have a baofeng uv5r sitting in my truck. May have to look into it a little more. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. So far work isn't slowing down for me and I don't really see it happening since people still have to feed their animals. As for projects in the little spare time I do get, need to finish floors in oldest son's mj, plenty of stuff to do to the xj after naxja winterfest this year, and now starting on home remodel so we can put it up for sale. Course now the market will probably tank and won't get much for it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. Well finally started working on this project last night. It's gonna be quite a bit of work to get the floors. Unfortunately I did find one small spot on the frame that's rusted thru. What's everyone's thoughts on cutting out the bad spot, welding in a patch, then putting frame stiffeners over it all? Other than this one spot the frame is solid front to back. 7. Yea I figured there's more rust to it. Just didn't know if there was anything special to it since it's an eliminator. I mean the floors can't be any worse than the one I'm rebuilding now. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. Found a 1990 comanche for sale close to me and wondering if I should try and pick it up. From the pics it looks like an eliminator edition. Has some rust on bed but says floors are good. Will include a couple pics. They are asking $500 for it. What do you guys think? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. I have got quite a few friends that have bought one of these gladiators. So far they all seem to really like them. No complaints from any of them. Maybe except for monthly payments. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Thank you for the build sheet. Nice to see exactly what it came from the factory with.
  11. 1990 Jeep Comanche. Current location is northern Indiana. Currently no drivetrain but soon to be swapping in complete 2000 XJ drivetrain and interior.
  12. I would be interested in one for my son's truck. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Well my 14 year old son has always had a fascination with the comanche and has always said he wanted one someday. Well for his 14th birthday we kinda surprised him with a 1990 comanche project for his first vehicle. Will be a decent project for me and him to build up. When we first got it it came as a rolling project with no drivetrain and a bed and cab full of parts. It was originally a 2wd 4cyl 5 speed that already had a 4.5" lift in front and spring over in rear. We eventually found a 2000 Cherokee and decided to pick it up and do a complete swap into the comanche. We first completely stripped the jeep down to just the frame and got it power washed and the rear frame rails wire wheeled and coated with bedliner. Next up will be getting the completely rusted out floors rebuilt and the rockers repaired. Gonna be a somewhat slow start build but it should be like a new truck when we are done with it. 14. Looks like you will be passing right by my place in northern Indiana. I am about 30 minutes from Churubusco, IN. Let me know when you are gonna be passing thru and maybe we could meet up.
