Ok..I have come across a transmission/transfer case combo along with an axle I can get for free..I just don't know what it is..Pretty sure the axle is a chevy 10bolt PS drop..No tag on the trans or case..Numbers stamped on the transcase are WC 118901 and C-11483..also had a B D 5 stamp..anybody know how to find out what the hell this is.

Yes I am going to lift it..Doing leaf spring conversion, D60 front and rear, and prolly some 40's..Truck I just finished building ended up with about 12.5" of lift..Thats why the SYE is a bonus for me.
So...300 bones for the transmission and transfer case (as long as it works) is a good deal..Oh and it already has a SYE..don't know which brand but its got one.
No.No...lol...I was responding what i thought to be a response to a guy on southern jeeps about the automatic..I was emailing 6 different people on 4 different sites and got em mixed up..I know..NO computer for the manual..but i am still a dumb arse.. :shake:
It had crossed my mind but i have so much fun with my manual stuff I think I am gonna go that route..The motor has 212k on it so we will see about that engine change..Hopefully not too soon..The 212k was all put on by a pepaw. ;)
Ok..I have an 88 2wd w/ba 10 5spd..I know a lot of you will tell me not to go leafs on the front but i am gonna anyway..What I need to know is my best bet to go with the ax-15 and the 231 for my conversion. :dunno:
Ok. I am considering converting on my 2nd MJ. My first one I did with the coils and ended up with around 12.5" of lift or so..It was a chore. Now I am going to start MJ2..I need pointers and recomendations and pics on going to leafs. It has got to be cheaper and easier. :bowdown:
Ok..Does anybody know if a roll bar out of an 88 yota will fit in the MJ? I finally found one but before i drive to go get it i need someone w/ knowledge on this to help me. :roll:
Ok..I want to add some bling..Wanted to go with a double/single style and found a place that makes one that fits..One little problem...They want 950 freakin clams for it...So ? is will one out of another make fit the MJ..I just can't see payin that for bling..Toyota,Dakota....sumpin? :bowdown:
My rear leafs on my 4x4 are really soft...Gonna cost me 350-375 bones to get them rearched at the spring shop..I was thinkin of just addin another leaf into the pack instead..Anybody got a suggestion?
