Yep..its still here..Not by the wifes wishes though..In fact I added another jeep to the fleet about 2weeks ago. :nuts: That puts me up to 6 daggum jeeps..I just couldnt pass the deal up. A 2005 grand cherokeee/leather v8 for 1500 bones...Only thing wrong with it is it hit a deer..hood,grill,fender,radiator...paint...poof a new jeep..I'll post a pic if anybody cares to see the latest addition...

I'm a cj guy too. :thumbsup: I have a 78 cj5..I am building what i call a trail truck..Not a mud truck,not a rock crawler,not a hill climber...just a plain ol' all around truck..getting everything aligned and where it was suppose to be on the 1st one was a nightmare..So the build (when going as high as i do) is much easier..Its also more cost effective(have most of what i need)..And its different(to me)..Scan the internet and you get good/bad feedback on doing it...I figure what the hell..I got another one to build after this one so if it sucks i will build #3 like #1.. :ack:

the tubing is going to hold the shackles..the plate that ties to the unibody is still loose so i can adjust in and out to where i need to be..the size of the plates on each side will be changed but want them big enough to incorparate a "front porch" for the winch..Easier to start big and cut down kinda thing..Just like the underside brackets(way to big)..Only 2 days into this thing from being the 2wd grocery getter.. :thumbsup:

Ok..so you know my first build..Going w/leafs this time to try something different..Friday she was a 2wd bone stock..This weekend she now has a d60 d44 and workin on the leafs up front..Pics are as follows w/one of MJ#1 to remind yall.. d60 and d44 out of a 79 F250...axle housing diameter 3" for the 60 and 2.5" for the 44?? :dunno:

Alright guys..help me out..My wife has a 03 Grand Cherokee that has a squeek/squeel to it. She tries to show me but it won't do it. I replaced the belt even though i couldnt get it to squeek...Now she says it is still doing it..Both my boys(jeep fanatics) say it does it..I can't get it to prove it..what the hell could it be..give me some hints :bowdown: yeah i know its the noise the wife hears we never do, but help me out..please...Oh my wife just reminded me I did hear it before i replaced the belt...sprayed it with that belt conditioner crap and it didnt work...replaced the belt now she gets the sqeek but not when i am around.

thanks for diggin my truck. :D I will get out there today and take some pics of the suspension. Its basically all custom..Lots of hours of help from friends..trial and error..and a LOT of Miller Lite..I am workin on MJ #2 and MJ #3 right now...#2 is gonna have d60+d44 and some 44's..well see how it turns out..#3 is in the body work process.

will a 2008 wrangler fit...or are they 5 on 4.5 too...ok now i read above..but still confirming..found some 08'w new rubber for 395...i should scoop em up huhh?

so 07 up wrangler wheels will work...anybody got some cheapens to go on my cheap Grand Cherokee I just got..

Whats the bolt pattern on a 2005 Grand Cherokee...I scored one hell of a deal on one and am gonna want to get some good lookin wheels for it. :brows:

36" TSL 4.10gears, locked 8.8 rear...thanks for all the good comments..wasnt sure what to expect and sure i will get some negatives.

I am in Newnan,Georgia...near atlanta....but since i am converting 2wd to 4wd shouldnt i go ahead and adapt over to the external slave..therefore apparently getting a bellhousing for external slave ax15...Man yall got me confused :nuts: Seems like everbody says external..If internal is cool then so be it..tell me what i need. :grrrr:

truck has ba10 2wd....going to ax15 4wd....same bellhousing gonna work?

Ok..starting MJ#2...I have a 88 lwb 2wd..already have transmission/trans case and going to pick up the dana 60 & 44 saturday..My plans are to convert to leafs up front, bob the bed, and gonna run 40's or 42's..I know..why leaf it..tires are too big all of that..Just would really like some pics of peoples rigs and or how they did this to there rig..Thanks.. ;)
