I was curious what tires everyone is running? I was thinking about getting some Kumho MT KL71s and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Pros? Cons? Better tire for the price? They will be on my daily driver but will see off road use as well. What kind of results have you had with your meats?

I thought i read somewhere that XJs came with 23mm (MJ) 25mm or a 28mm sway bar. Might be worth looking to as I believe the GC v8 is only 25mm. :brows:

How bout a soft top topper? Anyone seen something like that running around? I have a shurco in the town I live in and I know they make products for best top. Maybe ill go ask them if I can get something made for a decent price.

:agree: I have a LEER if anyone wants it . Good condition 300.00 :yes: However its not just the box dimensions but the height of the box thats the problem . I found about 5 different toppers that fit the box dimension but not the height . Your better off finding a topper company to make a custom top . They will match the body lines and cab line perfectly . A friend of mine has a two door XJ that he converted to a two door convertible , not practical during the winter so he had a custom top made that bolts right on and seals perfectly , looks bad@ss too ... Who made your buddys topper for him?

No offense taken.I get a kick out of it. I'm kinda new here but I wasnt born yesterday. Measure the box? ........no s@!#. I agree with you but your delivery is horrible. Put it to to you this way. For example if a dodge dakota short box is 3 inches longer than a comanches box and I see an add on craigs list or where ever for a camper shell on a dakota Ill probably blow past it cause itll be long. Now, on the other hand if I come across a camper shell on a S10 short box knowing that the box is of similar dimensions Ill probably stop and look. If I like it then Ill ask the owner to get me some measurements then match them up to my box dimensions and go from there. :thumbsup:

Wouldnt this be considered part of doing my homework? I'm asking for someone with more knowledge than myself to give me some sound advice. Is that cheating? I have measured the box. Like I said I'm not looking to buy new, therefor I won't be calling any manufactures. I fully comprehend that they don't have a shell specifically for an 88 MJ . Since i don't have or know anyone with a mazda,s10,dakota,ect ect. i can't just go measure their dimensions to match them up. Thanks for all your great advice.

Yeah me to. :rotf: :rotf: unfortunately I'm not buying new. I'm talking craigs list and that sort of route. People don't usually list the dimensions they just tell you what its on and that way I don't have to ask 10 people to measure their bed I can just find one i like on a similar box. Thanks for the advice though.

If I found a 44 I would go ahead and pull it instantly because they don't last long, however like i said I'm not in it for money so just price of the part is all I want and I'll keep a lookout for those armrests, you want hockeystixks with the slot right? gambit4000s is the one that wanted the 44.
