  1. Well that thread is old.. and it is titled "Roll Call"... also it was for people near the rockies... there are several states near the rockies, but only one Colorado
  2. My name is Chad. I live in Mead.. My Mj is an 88 long bed 4x4.
  3. Isn't that the same color the Green Eliminator got painted a while back?
  4. I'll throw my $.02 in the mix. These parts should have been labeled "New in Box". That is an accurate description.
  5. He (Biotex) has the springs, he installed them, he measured the amount of lift he got...... What more does comanchedude want? That was what he (comanchedude) asked for and then he told the person (Biotex) that had the information to "move on"
  6. Comanchedouche... oops, I mean dude.... HE DOES HAVE THE F'ING SPRINGS!!!
  7. Think how good a light bar would look on it. Have the lights be the same height as the roof.
  8. $2900 is a good price. It's at a dealer. I would think cash would get it for $2500 easy.
  9. The mountains just got 1-2 feet during a 3 day storm. Vail and Steamboat got the most out of the central/northern mountains. Prior to this last storm it has been really crappy with only a few 3-4 inch snows. The mountains should normally get the 1-2 feet snows overnight several times a month. It's just not snowing enough this year. But yes I had a great day on Wed. It was very cold and windy but the snow was deep. Hope the snow keeps coming.
  10. http://carsrussd.com/listing/96-jeep-cherokee/ Kind of different.. I love the vhs player. Also on my way home from Vail yesterday I saw a car transporter with two of the Jeep tugs. Don't remember what they are called. Front end kind of looks like a wrangler and has duals on the rear. There was an old 60s Chevy truck and a couple newer suvs on it. What an odd combo of vehicles.

    Interesting Find

Try armslist.com Like Craigslist but for guns and ammo.

    Interesting Find

It was supposed to be a joke about putting it on Craigslist. People sell weed on Craigslist in CO though.

    Interesting Find

Now that is funny.... I always wish I would find something crazy in the vehicles I buy. Maybe a kilo of blow or bunch of cash. Never found anything. When I detailed cars in college I always found roaches and seeds but never a pipe... put it on Craigslist...
  14. Black interior? Nice truck.... Enjoy it and never let it go....
  15. When I picked up my 88 in SanFrancisco I had to double back to the airport cause my bag didn't make it either. It was packed completely full of tools and was selected for a TSA search. Maybe the same thing happened.
  16. Wish I was taking a long roadie in a new (to me) MJ. I'm jealous. Good luck...
  17. Top- City....... Nice looking truck. Just pack some tools and enjoy the drive. If problems haven't manifested by the time you leave the truck should be fine. I lived in Manhattan for too many years while going to KSU. It's a nice area but I couldn't see myself settling down there either. Good Luck
  18. Thanks for looking for me Jim. I'm gonna have them mail me some pictures on Monday. The price is $100 shipped. They seem sure it came off a mj.
  19. 3/2 or 4/1 I'd like roughly 2" of lift. This is like trying to get a bunch of girls to decide on the same prom dress....
  20. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3539935667.html I would classify this as odd/strange.
  21. I'll make it down to see you sometime Jim. Men like you with so many good stories and life experiences to back them up are rare. It would be an honor to shake your hand and BS for a while.
  22. Desertmike, I'm going to be pulling my boat with my mj. It is a 19' fiberglass with a good solid trailer on a single axle. I towed it all summer with my xj with 4.0, aw4, 3.55 gears. The xj stopped everything pretty good. In emergency stops I would sometimes have to pull the hand brake a little. My mj has 4.0, aw4, 4.10 gears and an AMC 20 in the rear. I'm looking to upgrade my springs as well. The bigger drums on the 20 should help slow things. I don't know if my boat/trailer combo is considered class III or not but I know my mj will be capable of pulling and stopping it. I only tow it about 30 miles each way. I love snowboarding more than anything besides my daughter but I'm getting anxious for spring and that first trip to the lake.
  23. I just realized I left the word "heard" out of the title. Also I just read a thread here that mentions a company called EAZ lift hitch. Maybe that is what the guy meant. Thanks Jim, I would really appreciate that. I saw a red MJ southbound on I25 south of Pueblo a couple weeks ago on my way home from the Grand Canyon. It kinda looked like you but hard to tell across a median. I waved like crazy.
  24. The results I get from Google are for an alignment device used for backing up to the trailer. Also some for a height adjusting draw bar. Nothing for an actual receiver.
  25. I'm looking into buying a hitch for my 88 long bed. Guy on the phone said it's a class III hitch. He said the only decal he could find on it said Easy Hitch (or maybe EZ hitch). He also said it mounts to the bottom of the frame rails. I'm pretty sure it came from a 'manche because the stock number they had on it was mj4470 and a guy who pulls parts said it came off a long bed. Has anyone heard of Easy Hitch (EZ hitch)? Also those of you that have a long bed hitch, does it mount to the bottom of the rails? I want to get the right one. Thanks in advance.
