Whats the best location for a 2nd battery box? i pulled my XJ's $8 walmart box and it won't fit behind the bench. any suggestions where to mount this thing?

What is needed to rip out this gem of a transmission (BA-10) to install a Cherokee's AW4 automatic transmission? The local boneyard sells AW4s for $125 with torque convertor, flex plate, all the goodies and ready to go. But what about dipsticks? Engine control computer? coolant lines?! Help me out!

I ever break mine I'm fabbing some sheet metal and a pair of TJ tail lights. be about 250 bucks cheaper...

Where's the rheostat located in relation to the dash lights. might just replace that at the same time?

if i switch an 87 half cluster to an 87's full cluster do i still need to replace the sending units?

Chase down vacuum leaks. I had a similar thing in my XJ and it was a bad vacuum line for the MAP sensor. Look for a torn or gashed hoseline coming off the manifold, or to the vacuum bottle.

got it fixed. it's tension is kinda shot, but i PB'd the mechanisms on both sides, and white lithium. To open i gotta pull then push to put the handle back in. lol...

yeah, shoot a pix please. i dunno if I want a blue, grey, or red full console yet... lol

true. but for thirty five bucks, i'll drop a pair of pins. that price was for cable and knob only. no fancy schmancy brackets or mounts.

Oh bonus. so the floor console has the manual w/ boot and transfer case? the headlight switch includes the housing and the pull knob, right? cuz its the housing that broke on this heep of jeep.

well the hood is free and loose, but thats cuz i think the latchs stuck open. I'm just gonna get a universal kit to replace it. the mopar kit is 32 bucks according to advance.

Yeah, but my hood seems to have a cable going between two latches on either side and down into the firewall from a combined latch mechanism. I didnt notice anything but the springs on the header area?
