Would a new PVC stop oil from going in?

Good idea. Will air filters from an xj work too? Most junkyards here never have Comanches. I always call and they say it's been forever since someone asked about one of those. All these damn mj owners... What are we going to do? Lol :)

Thanks for the info. I do not plan on converting to the hand ebrake. I might just make something to sit that position to stop things from falling in there

I am planning on doing the bucket seat swap.. I have a few questions.. 1. If I found an xj with the center console and the e-brake assembly (hand brake) how could that work with an MJ with the foot ebrake? 2. How would you mount the console in there? 3. If you have a set of MJ bucket seat brackets will an XJ bucket seat fit on it? Thanks I might have a few more, but my brain is dead lol

But on my engine, the intake box has amsoil on it, and then from there there is a mechanism that I have no idea what it is... Also, What would be the cause of oil coming into the air filter from the top?

Here are some recent pics of her! Just some surface rust. Yes! All strapped on, strap on the wheel wasn't tight enough so it started coming lose. Picture of it at night in the driveway where it will sit and get cleaned until we get the tag. Here is the front bumper (one with the trailer ball on it) that my Grandfather made for it to load/unload his boat in.. It is bolted to the tow hooks on the front, pretty stout. The other one is the factory front bumper with the fogs (on went out, notice the different sizes. This is the bed, Uncle moved some stuff and never cleaned it, but it a drop in bedliner thing, plan is to herculine it in the near future. Hope you enjoyed. Projects for the week: Take the camper top off (selling, comes with light,questions feel free to ask) Wash her Figure out what shape the engine is in (will run, just oil everywhere) and clean underneath

Is it possible to do this? I have the 2.5l 4 cyl chief and grandpa made it run amsoil. It looks like it has an amsoil air filter box and all that... How do I convert it back to normal? It does burn oil, so how could I fix that?

Great news!!! Hauling it back.. She rides good. :rotfl2: the floor boards are crystal clear! No rust at all!! I'm so happy. I have a question though. If it was converted to amsoil cause it burns oil is it possible to convert it back?

Which side of the driveshaft do I disconnect? The one at differential or at transfercase and if at differential, would it still spin even though tied up.. Just thought I guess not since nothing to turn it because front are off the ground and not connected to no matter what

Ok so either TC in nuetral and trans in 1st OR take the rear driveshaft off...? Anyone have a thing to do that? Like take the ujoints off?

Great news!! We are finally making the trip to tow her! We are leaving about 5am on Saturday and making the trip back on Sunday. I will be sure to take pictures and update this more often... Question: what should I do to tow with a dolly?

What do i need to do to tow it? Put transfer case in nuetral and transmission...?

Should I take it somewhere and let them check it out and see what they have to say and then just buy all the parts and do it myself? :)
