Its prob from a cherokee brandon. And I'm not cutting the springs just the u bolts if i have to. Why are the springs attached anywhere else besides the u bolts The leafs would be impossible to cut -
I'm from where you speak of. is it the one with the roof cut out and made into a crazy beach moon roof? or is the roof solid? where is it in the yard? the yard is huge there and if you don't know where something is youll really be walking for hours.

ok ive found out its my rear thats bad in my 92. i got it at a garage and their letting me get the axel and installing it for me. they took off the diff cover and 3 teeth fell out. i found a pick n pull that will sell me one (a dana 35) for $50 complete...pretty cheap huh? i am going to the pick n pull tomorrow to get it. is there anything i need to know pulling it? besides the obvious...leaf u bolts, shock bolts, drive shaft (at the universal) I'm going to bring my dewalt sawzall with metal blades and try to cut the universal and the u bolts on the leafs. or ill just use a socket if there not rusted shut. the shock bolts I'm gonna rough them out i know i should be throwing in a dana 44, but i can't get one anytime soon and the mechanic said things might not fit right. any imput or help guys? or do i got it covered? I'm going in the morning thanks paul

The rear axle has a noise when the wheel is spun in reverse. A ticking. I stuck my finger in the hole. Ha ha. And it was good. The fluid wasnt up to the hole. About an inch or two below it. I don't know about the drive train at all. I just learned about the suspension so far. I have no idea of the part names. I don't know what to do next. Garage?

wheeling trip well i get done with the trip and look for damage i find my moog sway bar bushings are ovaled....got new ones today...i can feel it in the steering now....its wierd. anyways, i got this crazy noise coming from under my truck as far as i can tell. it starts..""whining""?? at 35mph. and as i go faster, it gets louder. this only happens when i hit the gas though. it seems to be coming from the tranny area, but I'm really not sure. i did go through some crazy mud and water, but i cleaned it real good right after the trip. tranny fluid is good. anyone got anything that might help me find out what this noise is? thanks paul

Ya thats what he said he was gonna do. Ixthink theres an aftermarket on there cuz it has flex pipe on it and i don't think the oems had that. I would get a new one today. But I'm not really sure on which one to get. I gotta order it online and i don't wanna have to return it. I'm not worried on the installation. It looks pretty easy. Yes good thinking on the rewelding. I should just get a new one. I don't know. I guess I'm gonna live with the pressure cooker sound for now or until i can get a def match n order it up. Thanks guys -

I have found this guy who can repair the oem header common crack. He cuts the manifold almost in half then welds it from the inside. Then welds it back together. $60. Complete. Not taken off or put on. Just fixing it. Good price or no? -
