  10. Well the bearing in the pulled part was bad also. Went to another place that had one pulled for me and that bearing was bad too..... So after a thousand rejected calls for the bearing, or clutch, I stumbled across dj Nickolus. The only thing is it's only 65$ when it's $200+ everywhere else. He said he didn't have a pic but it said clutch pulley It's coming in by 9 am tomorrow so we shall see if it's the right part I also got the clutch pulley off and apart, including bearing. Is anyone even reading this?
  11. i just took off the ac clutch plate and there was a bunch of gunk in there so i cleaned both sides up a little with some scotchbrite and noticed that my bearings grinding...lol here's the other side.....not cleaned yet....from what ive read, the washers/shims are very important i called the used part store and am getting a whole ac unit $60 then ill have a spare ac

  13. ok i got the tightening of the belt down....now, what about this ac pulley? i see a bearing that they sell is that what i need?
  14. ok i just tried to tighten the belt i think when i took my belt off i turned the bottom adjustment screw in to much i try to adjust it now and its just not working :fs1:
  15. Haha. Ok I'm gonna try to tighten it up a little
  16. How tight should the belt be?
  17. Hey guys.... I have recentley been hearing a squeak in what seems to be my ac unit. I spray some pb blaster in it and it stops for a min or so. I just put some oil in it now...just a little from the outside...and it lasts a little longer. (no squeak) I really love and need my ac, so I don't want to remove it and put a bracket in there. Is there an easier way? Like do they sell just the part the belt rides on? Or is there any other suggestions? I really appreciate the help Thanks again guys! Paul
  18. Holy crap i was just going to ask the same question. Thanks !!!
  19. if your looking to adjust the ignition switch, here's what response i got on another post....hope it helps.......(yes its adjustable, the best way to get at it is to remove the lower dash bezel for better access. It will be on top of the column and the high beam switch will also be attached to the column with the ignition switch. Just do a google search its pretty common.)
  20. that might be what it is... is it adjustable and would it hold the key from giong back all the way?
  21. I'm not sure what its called, but i remember i replaced some sort of slide bar in my column (in my 88), and i put it back together without adjusting it right, so the key does not come out. it don't go back all the way. i lived with it but i sold the truck now, and the kid that i sold it to is on here asking about it, getting no responses. i don't know what the thread is called....i don't even know what the parts called. I'm looking for the write up i used to do this thank you in advance Paul
  22. Wow I do love to learn.... Thank you
