  1. Thanks Pete. Just checked to be 100% sure and my belt follows the same path as the diagram. Is it possible that my power steering is too high? I had that replaced a few years ago. Hard to believe it would move. Also, when I press down on the belt belt, how much deflection should there be? And should the AC compressor move when pressing belt?
  2. I have non-working ac. The compressor is there.
  3. See pic. It the belt supposed to be touching here? If not, how do I adjust it?
  4. Resurrecting this ancient thread. Has anyone done this upgrade to remove the plastic clip connector but also keep the OEM metal fuel lines? I really hate those plastic clips and like to have them gone.
  5. Well, I have spark. Fuel pressure whilst cranking starts at 39-49 then suddenly drops. At the same time this is happening, I noticed fuel dripping from the fuel pressure regulator/fuel line connection. This may be the problem. Thoughts?
  6. Just to verify. https://www.harborfreight.com/11-piece-noid-light-and-iac-tester-set-97959.html Thus will work for renix MJs?
  7. You're right. I'm going to HF today. I know the fuel pressure is low as it doesn't spray. However, a pressure gauge will be helpful. The injectors work. I had them all out, cleaned and tested them. Will test for spark tomorrow. You're only 3.5 hours away. Just swing by tomorrow! LOL! I admit it. My troubleshooting skills lack organization.
  8. Best I could. Not an easy task with a socket extension up there too. LOL!
  9. I notched out the holes for, supposedly, easier replacement. Would that have affected the function?
  10. Yes. Display reads 0.080 mv I think?
  11. New cps installed. Still no start. Notched the cps I'm getting .08 volts. That's worse than the old one. It's a Napa part. I'm pulling my hair out!!!
  12. Whew! I thought this was going to be a horrible experience, but it worked out. Hoping my NAPA part will work right off.
  13. My Dr. likes to say. "As we age . . .", before the bad news hits. Here's the image that cornfused.. I did even notice the CPS, just the bell housing and the hole. 2+2=7 in my head. Ugh!
  14. I know! I really thought I read on your site to drill out the bell housing with a pic if the bell housing. I'll have to check that again. I must be having a serious senior moment!
  15. I thought you drilled out the bell housing?
  16. The tape is ready for deployment. I don't see how you get a drill up in there, so probably not. I'm actually kinda backing off the whole mod thing. After reading about all the people breaking their new CPS! I can't afford to keep buying those things.
  17. I plan to. Finally got the old one out! Whooooohoooo!!! Need to read about your mod to this too!
  18. So, even with 3-4' of extensions, I cannot get this mother out! I'll keep trying but if anyone has a method that worked for them please share. Thank you!!!
  19. That Black MJ is real purdy. Can I come over sometime and give her bath?
  20. Funny. I figured if I suggested alligator clips or something like that, I would be told that I wouldn't get a good reading unless I soldered it. Can't win.
  21. Since I have already ordered a CPS, is there any harm in bypassing the damaged connector and soldering the wires together to see what happens?
