  1. So what does it have to be connected to as far as wiring goes maybe mine has a poor connection or no ground
  2. ok so i tried to remove the bed and i got the gas tank dropped and the rear brakes bracket dropped and disconnect the wires for the rear lights and i have removed the exhaust i then removed the 2 bolts in the passenger front and the driver front of the bed so the front of the bed pops up freely but the back won't i tried looking for bolts to remove in the back but i don't see any are they in the frame ? and are there two on both sides in the back? 2 bolts on the passenger front side 2 bolts on the driver front side dropped the gas tank and the rear brake bracket
  3. does the potentiometer have 3 leads on it or 2
  4. do you just push the chrome part and the washer fluid comes out ?
  5. So will those stalks just plug right in and fix my issues or do I have to replace the mech inside the steering colum
  6. If I can't get it to work then I can always just throw in a whole new dash gauge display area right

  9. so your saying i can just unbolt the nut and not have to worry about the rivet when i go to put it back
  10. i thought it was plastic to but when i tap on it with my finger it feels like its made out of metal
  11. I am trying to remove the bed so that i can fix the dents and holes it has then i will repaint it so it looks like i have to take these nuts off but what are these other little screws next to it for and does anyone know exactly how many of these bolts have to be remove to get the bed off
  12. i will try to fix it if not then i will just throw in a new one now i have to figure out how to get the stalk to work correctly
  13. oh ok no all i have is the Haynes manual for my truck and the jeep electrical trouble shooting book
  14. ok i will check it out when i take it apart and see what kind i have and if i can adjust it
  15. oh ok i see what you mean but even if i did have one and i hooked it up i would definitely be getting different number then my rpm gauge
  16. how do i figure out if i have a idle tachometer ? i know my mph gauge is working correctly and I'm going to take the dash apart to repaint it so shouldn't i just replace it wile i have it apart?
  17. ok i did that and it did pop right out i will try to clean the mech out and get it to work could you guys tell me what commands does it do 1. turn left signal 2. turn right signal 3. wiper blades (are there 3 different speeds?) 4. when you pull it towards you what does that do? seems like all i can get mine to do is turn both ways and move the wiper blades I'm not sure how to get it to shoot windshield fluid out ?
  18. is it rusty ? rust will cause all kinds of cracks to happen for no reason
  19. is it possible to buy a new lock with new keys for them
  20. i think its way off cause when i press the gas i barely press it and it jumps up like 3500 rpm I'm afraid of pressing the gas all the way down the rpm gauge will probably do a full 360
  21. yes its a 2.8 originally but i put in a 3.4 i didn't really do an engine swap the vehicle was bought with no 2.8 in it so i had to drop in the 3.4 kinda like free-styling it i will take it for a test drive with the tube disconnected and see if i notice any difference
  22. its the bolts on the flex plate the connect to the torque converter does anyone know what the torque specs on those bolts are ?
  23. Is there any way to fix or replace the stick mines does a whole 360 when you turn it
  24. have you tried a wedge pump ? here's a link on how it works maybe you can buy one use it once and return it to the store so you don't have to spend any money
