So recently my truck started making this squealing noise behind the glovebox. It only happens when the heat is on, once i turn it off it’ll stop. I turn the heat back on and no squeal until about 5-10 mins and then it starts making the nose again. Wondering if anyone knew what this could be before i start taking the dash all apart. Thanks in advance
Just replaced my floors and am not sure what to coat them in to protect them. I was thinking por-15 or bedliner and then something along the lines of dynamate as an insulation. Anything cheaper to use then dynamate?
If anyone has an extra tailgate handle laying around and feels like letting it go, I’ll buy it. Haven’t had one for about a year now and I’d like to make a life alittle easier and be able to open my tailgate
I'm be going to pick up a comanche this weekend and it has the ba10-5 but the owner said reverse just grinds. He said the trans had reverse, then went mudding and now doesn't. Any clue what could of happened or possible fixes?
I might be buying a comanche with a 2.5l and just wanted to know what some common problems or things to look for are before getting it. It has 85k miles and is 2wd 5 speed
I have a knocking or clicking noise when I brake at low speeds (20mph and under) it stops when I'm at a complete stop, it also does it when turning but only sometimes. Its 4wd and it is coming from the front of the truck
Once it starts its constant, it will happen as soon as I hit operating temp, 140-180°ish. It gets louder as I give it gas and the more I drive it the louder it squeaks. It evently will stop at a certain pitch of squeal
My serpentine belt only starts to squeal when the engine reaches around 150° or around operating temp. I put a brand new belt on it a couple days ago and it still does it. The belt was a gates so it wasnt to cheap. It starts off quiet then gets worse as I keep driving
I need the measurement from the back wheel arch to the end of the bed on a short bed Comanche. I'm getting a custom bumper made but I have a long bed and would like this bumper to be used on a short bed as well
Not sure where you are located but there is a 86 Cherokee in the junkyard by me, complete 2.5l, manual trans and 4x4. Its at the blue island lkq in Illinois, zip code is 60406
