I'm looking to getting rid of the vacuum actuated 2 piece shaft in my Comanche and I don't know what years I can use for axle shafts. I want the bigger u-joints and I read the 95-96 shafts I can use, then I read I can use 96-99? Just looking for some clarification

Okay well it looks like I have front door speakers but no back speakers, the wiring looks to be there for the rear speakers but I'm not sure if it's the speaker wiring. I just shinned a flashlight into the vent looking thing and seen it

My truck does not have a vehicle side harness for a radio. The po put a radio in it but tapped into the fuse box and put some house speakers under the seats. Although my radio does technically work it just looks trashy with all the wires hanging down into the fuse box. Also I'm pretty sure I have speakers but I'm not 100% I'll have to check

My 87 Comanche didn't come with a radio and I was wondering if I could wire one in with the factory harness? I searched on here but couldn't find much on it

Alright thanks everyone, I'm going to look for some ford mirrors for now and try to fix the Comanche mirrors in the later future

So I recently bought some Comanche tow mirrors and when I received them in the mail, both of the mirrors move freely on the pivot they are on. There is no resistance and they just flop around. If you shake the mirror you can hear all the rust inside of them. I was curious if there's and way to fix this or are the mirrors just broken? Sorry if I didnt give good enough info

I knew something didn't seem right. I tried looking it up and all I got was either its a ecu or the braking module for abs?

My ecm got water damage, if its not a late model one then why would someone write that on there?

The ecm came out of an auto Comanche and is going into an auto Comanche

I went to the junkyard today to grab a ecu/ecm for my 87 Comanche, and in the yard was a 87 Comanche but when I pulled the ecu/ecm out someone had wrote on it "90 xj 4.0 cruise auto" will this still work in my 87? There's twp numbers on it one is S101140203 B and the other is 56006078

I'm going to go look at a 1987 Comanche and the owner says that when you put the gear selector in reverse it moves forward as of it was in drive. Anyone got a clue what that could be? Its Aw4 and 4x4

Could be the battery ground, mine did the same thing. Once I replaced that it started right up

Hi I'm new to comanche club so if this has been answered already i apoligize but I put in a new ignition switch it causes my Comanche to not start. This is he 2nd new one I put in and same results. Old ignition switch let's me start the jeep but the new ones don't, I have no wipers, turn signals, radio, cigarette lighter or horn and everywhere I read says to replace ignition switch. Its a 1987 Comanche with the 4.0 auto 4x4
