  1. Probably a sign that you're getting older. I almost ended up with a 5 speed, glad I ended up with the auto now though.
  2. Well, spliced into the "A" side of the connector. Hoping that the gauge works now. If I grounded out the old single wire (90* elbow looking plug) then the tach would bury. So, it started raining really hard here. I'm hoping that this fixes it. If not I'm at a loss.
  3. Getting the diff cover cleaned and painted. It will be OD green, along with everything else on the truck.
  4. I'd just use Moog. They seem to fix alot of suspension issues.
  5. Well, I'll make an introduction thread/build thread when I get home (at work now! shhh!), but I have a few quesions. 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 98 4.0 H.O. Swap (?) Auto Trans So, here are my questions... Swapped the full gauge cluster with tach/speedo/and all sensory gauges. I know that I need to swap the temp sending unit/oil sending unit to get those gaugest to work. I have an issue though... Everything that I could find online was pertaining to the stock Renix 4.0, and not the H.O. 4.0. I looked at the sensors, and it looks like whoever did the swap kept the old sensors (smaller oil pressure unit, 2 wire temp sensor). The temp sensor is not on the rear of the block like a Renix, it is in the front (not on the block). The oil guage moves, but doesn't really fluctuate, as in it's not working/not accurate. Temps stays dead, where as it did at one time jump all over the place. Question comes to be: Do I still buy the same sending units that are in the write ups for the gauge cluster swap, and run a wire from the temp unit to the old connector for the temp sending unit? Can I use the current 2 wire sending unit and run a wire from it? I'm sure I need to buy the new oil sending unit, but will it fit okay threading wise if I am using the newer block? My last question for this thread pertaints to the speedo on the cluster. It reads accutare, but jumps 1-3mph constantly. I know I've read alot about bad grounds, is this where I should start? Or is it likely that the gears in the cluster are stripped/bad?
